The website describes CVAS's services, lists organizations that have been helped, and includes contact information for organizations wishing assistance and professionals who wish to offer their assistance.

The Foundation Center is a non-profit organization devoted to serving the information needs of grantmakers and grantseekers. They publish an extensive list of books and provide libraries and training sessions related to the non-profit sector. The Website's Reference Desk has a FAQ page organized by topic, a long list of annotated links for finding online sites related to non-profits, and an online reference librarian who takes questions by e-mail. There are also some informational materials online such as a "A Proposal Writing Short Course."

Impact Online is a non-profit organization whose mission is "to facilitate and increase community involvement via the internet. [They] seek to collaborate with and complement existing organizations and build community resources to get more people involved." The site lists volunteer opportunities available through Volunteer America, allows you to search for non-profits in your local area and has a section about the "why and how" of volunteering.

The Management Assistance Program for Nonprofits

"Founded in 1979, MAP, The Management Assistance Program for Nonprofits, is a nonprofit management support agency that provides affordable consulting, leadership and technical assistance to other charitable nonprofit organizations primarily within Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. MAP recruits employed and retired professionals to volunteer to clients as consultants or board members. MAP hosts Carter McNamara's Managers Free Library to help provide highly accessible and practical resources to managers throughout the nation."

This web site offers a rich array of useful information targeted at the non-profit community, such as information about workshops, technical assistance, organizational development resources, volunteer assistance, etc. Although MAP primarily serves the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, there is much to be gained from the resources on this web site for non-profits, businesses, and non-profit-serving organizations. The Free Management Library is an incredible resource with close to 700 topics listed including anything from setting up an e-commerce business to improving organizational communication. The library is well-organized making navigation easy.

National Council of Jewish Women

This site includes links to news and publications, deals with issues and advocacy, programs and projects NCJW are involved in, and has links to many other sites.
National Council of Nonprofit Associations

"The largest state-by-state alliance of nonprofits in the United States, NCNA is a network of 40 state and regional associations with a collective membership of more than 20,000 community nonprofits.
