The site has an extensive section of news and feature articles, information about dog breeds and registration, show rules and regulations, and an events calendar.

Association of Pet Dog Trainers

"The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) is a professional association of individual trainers who are committed to becoming better trainers through education. The APDT offers individual pet dog trainers a respected and concerted voice in the dog world. We continue to promote professional trainers to the veterinary profession and to increase public awareness of dog friendly training techniques." The site has information about events and resources for trainers as well as a directory of trainers for pet owners, along with tips on how to choose a trainer.
National Dog Groomers Association of America, Inc.

"NDGAA was established in 1969. We are a professional membership association of persons engaged in the grooming and care of dogs for the promotion of excellence in professional standards. Our curriculum of activities include educational workshops and certification testing, conduction of meetings, seminars and grooming competitions.
