Ovarian Cancer National Alliance

"Leaders from a number of the most active ovarian cancer groups around the country have joined forces to form a national organization, the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance: Ovar'coming Together. The Alliance is working at the national level to increase public and professional understanding of ovarian cancer and to advocate for increased research for more effective diagnostics and treatment. As an umbrella organization, the Alliance unites the efforts of ovarian cancer grassroots activists, women's health advocates, and health care professionals to focus national attention on ovarian cancer." The site has a fact sheet about ovarian cancer as well as information about research and government policy.
