"In 1997, the Counseling and Human Development Foundation was renamed the American Counseling Association Foundation (ACAF), with an expanded mission and a new, more focused dedication to preserving and enhancing the counseling profession." The site has an online news source, Counseling Today Online for professional counselors and an informational section for consumers and the media, including a section of commonly asked questions about counseling. Some other parts of the site are open to members only.

Our services include self-help support groups, bereavement support across the Internet, and educational resources for the bereaved, professional counsellors and self-help agencies." The site is divided into section for support, education, affiliates, resources, and chat & groups. There are online articles and brochures on various grief and bereavement-related topics, such as loss of a child or getting through the holidays. Atlhough the group is based in Ontario, the website links to resources and articles that are helpful to anyone.
California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists
