"Behind the NSF Mark is an independent, not-for-profit organization called NSF International. For over 50 years NSF has been committed to public health safety and protection of the environment by developing standards, by providing education and by providing third-party conformity assessment services while representing the interest of all stakeholders".

Its Web site offers links to information for customers and regulators, certification programs, the online newsletter and other publications, and employment opportunities. It also offers the possibility of downloading standards. There is information available in Spanish, French, German and Japanese.

What is the IPL?

The Internet Public Library is a public library for the world wide web.
Students from a consortium of colleges and universities with programs in information science develop and maintain the IPL!
