Wool Works: The Online Knitting Compendium

Wool Works contains "more than 180 patterns for handknitted sweaters, socks, hats, scarves, baby clothes, afghans, and other miscellaneous projects." It also includes information on "knitting books, magazines, events, guilds, computer-related resources, Web links, and charities that accept donations of knitted items." A set of Web discussion boards for talking about knitting; a huge directory of knitting suppliers in North America, the north Atlantic and Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand; as well as hints and tips on various knitting techniques, fibers, spinning, dyeing, and various knitwear designers are included.
