Alternatives are defined as methods which reduce animal use, replace whole animal tests, or refine existing tests by minimizing animal distress." The site offers news, articles, lists of periodicals, information about alternative procedures, and U.S. and international regulations about animal care.

This page contains resources for getting involved with animal rights campaigns. There is also a collection of information on the variety of animals the fund focuses on, from bottlenose dolphins to Asiatic bears and Tibetan antelope.

VIVA! promotes a "cruelty-free lifestyles," particularly encouraging veganism. Viva! "produces loads of info on going veggie and campaigns on issues." This site lists their campaigns, guides for vegetarian and vegan diets (which include recipes), user-submitted recipes, and membership information.
