To work in this profession one needs to be physically, emotionally, and mentally very strong. Nursing assistants help provide people with basic care for patients in hospitals and nursing homes/ long care facilities. There are about 205,000 people who work as a nurse practitioner in the US. I do not know about you, but I would like to make the number increase up to 205,001. For many young girls, like myself, want to help save lives and we don’t even have to save their life but just help them. This is why a nurse practitioner would be the best job too have. They don’t do major surgeries or anything like that but they do help just enough to keep someone healthy.

Given my past experience starting with medial assisting I think this was the start of me making the decision to pursue nursing based on what I had learned and experienced. As far as my future goals nursing definitely fits in the picture as I hope to become a nurse educator at some point in my
One of the most important things to me besides family and friends would be getting my nursing degree. Most kids want to be the president or a sports player but not me; I always wanted to be a nurse. It was just in my nature to care of others before myself. When I turned sixteen years old, I received my Nursing Assistant License and have been working at Bethany Nursing Home in Waupaca, WI. The following summer, I attended Bellin Nursing Camp where I fell in love more with the nursing field.
It's also a great opportunity to get new experiences that look good on a résumé. When nurses make the choice to travel for their profession, they must find one or more staffing agencies to act as an intermediary between the health care facilities in need of skilled staff and the qualified nurses who can help. There is quite a bit of paperwork involved when a nurse signs on with one of these agencies, and it's typically necessary to have at least a year of clinical experience in one's area of specialty, but once the initial hiring stage is complete, it is fairly easy to pick up jobs in different parts of the
Students in high school and college endure the same questioning almost everyday: “What are you going to be?” For many students, their career choice flip-flops multiple times and will most likely change at least once before graduating college. For those wishing to go into the healthcare field, but not desiring to become a doctor, there is another path median of the more extreme courses of nurse and physician. The glorious light shining in the middle is a nurse practitioner. Because of its ambiguous nature, many people are not aware of the differences between a nurse and a nurse practitioner.
Until I decided to go to Lenape, I had not had any plans for what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. When I learned I could graduate as a Certified Nurse Assistant, I was interested immediately. However, I knew I wanted to accomplish more than that. I love learning and I have a lot of empathy so I knew healthcare would be a perfect match for me.
She also says she’s glad she chose it over trying to become a practitioner since that’s far more stressful. She says there are several positives about her nursing career, good pay and ability to find work quickly all over the country, good health insurance from day one for you and your family. Nurses have the ability to help their community, by helping their patients, improving their quality of life and taking part in saving a person's life. She says that when studying to become a nurse there are a lot of tests and a lot of people don't understand how hard you have to work for that title. Her advice to whoever is interested in the field is to stick with it.
Should I Major in Nursing Science or not? Nursing is hard job. Nurses who work hard by taking care of the patient. I am in college with no career choice.
Nurses give care, succor, kindness, and tenderness to patients, families, other nurses; support to doctors and advanced practitioners, and give directions to medical technicians, nursing assistants, and other staff every
I have decided to become a nurse practitioner to help aid those who are in need and be helpful to people who can only speak Spanish. Communication is key when it comes to health, therefore if I am able to personally understand a patient’s need it will lead to a higher satisfaction among Spanish-speaking patients. I have always found the health field interesting and fascinating, so I strongly feel becoming a nurse practitioner is the best for me. Volunteering at a health clinic made me experience what it is like to work with patients and confirmed it is what I want to do as a career. It feels amazing to do something good for the people in the community which is why I am excited to see what the future
It always seemed like it was the perfect profession for me because I am a people’s person. The required education is to have a Master’s degree. They provide general care, oversee check-ups, treat sickness, order lab tests and they prescribe medicine. As a primary nurse practitioner they work in health clinics or hospitals.

I’m very passionate and fascinated with the medical field in all aspects. I strive for excellence, integrity and love interacting with all diversity of people.
Career Goal I have a few career goals such as becoming an ER registered nurse and a nurse practitioner but fist I want to be an ER registered nurse. For a long time now I could just envision myself in the blue scrub running out to the ambulance as the EMT rushed the patient into the hospital. And successfully collaborating with a team of people to save someone's life.
My life goal is to help as much as i can and be the best version of myself. Growing up I never felt cared about and had any attention given to me. From that point on I knew I never wanted anyone to feel like me at any point of their life. My passion for wanting to become a nurse became stronger. Knowing that you can make a positive change to someone's life by being who you are makes me feel great.
