In the beginning of the story Scrooge was hateful and in the end he was very loving. But once he started to change he changed very rapidly. When the ghosts started coming he started changing , each time one ghost came he changed little by little . Scrooge has started to really understand what he has done wrong in his life and how selfish and mean he really is .
