In the world of young entertainers, the market is often overrun with one-hit wonders and teens who decide to participate in risky behavior which results in negative press that sometimes propels them even further into the limelight. It is a rare thing in this fast-paced culture to see a young, unspoiled actress who truly has talent but has made the significant choice to keep herself grounded, but that is exactly who Ali Skovbye is. Her fame does not emanate from her wrongdoings, but instead she has built her reputation on humility, kindness, and crackerjack ability. Recently, I had the opportunity to ask her about her career as well as her Hallmark experiences, including “Once Upon a Christmas,” Gourmet Detective,” and “When Calls the Heart.” What was it that inspired you to become an actress? I sort of landed in acting because my sister was already doing it, so I just …show more content…
Will you sing again like you did in “One Christmas Eve?” I have another “Gourmet Detective” movie coming out. I also have a small role in the new Disney movie called “Adventures in Babysitting.” I hope to be able to sing again like in “One Christmas Eve.” It was pretty tough to do that scene as I had a bad cold at the time, and I had to sing that song over and over like 20 times . Luckily, the final track was recorded in a studio in L.A, so by that time I had my voice back. Describe your experience on WCTH. Working on WCTH was such a fun experience for me--wearing all those beautiful dresses and seeing Hope Valley. You can really step back in time and feel like you are really living in that era. And the actors on that show are amazing and so kind. Erin (Krakow) was always looking out for me and giving me positive feedback. And she 's so funny . Always making jokes. Working with Carter (Evancic) was also great. He 's such a great kid....Always hiding . I never had a younger sibling growing up, so it 's fun when I get to have one on

Chris McCandless: Spiritual Revolutionary of the Primordial World Chris McCandless, a young, nonconformist man, died in the Alaskan wilderness trying to live off the land there. Some laud McCandless for his transcendentalist behavior and unique, nonconformist beliefs; others call McCandless a reckless fool whose impulsive actions ended up costing his life. Chris McCandless was ultimately a modern day transcendentalist because he believed that nature was purer than society, a common transcendentalist belief. An inscription McCandless engraved in Fairbanks bus 142 indicatesthat he thought of society as poisonous, thus making nature purer than society in McCandless’s mind. In September of 1992, Alaskan hunters found McCandless’s body

Having lost her mother in birth and with her whole life encircled by death, Vada Sultenfuss, the gloomy 11-year-old daughter of Harry Sultenfuss, the town’s funeral parlour manager, is no wonder that death became almost an obsession to her. Sennett, another unpopular kid who is allergic to just about everything. During the summer break in 1972, Vada will have her first crush, she will join a poetry writing class, but most of all, when the cheerful and quirky Shelly DeVoto takes up the position of make-up artist at Harry’s mortuary, she will gradually find the maternal figure she always needed.

Last year, I had the sublime opportunity to chat with Lisa Durupt, whom I knew from the popular Murder, She Baked Hallmark Movies & Mysteries film series. Little did I know at that time that Lisa would be the first of the recurring members of the cast I would interview (I believe I have now interviewed them all), and she was sweet enough to tolerate a novice interviewer and give thoughtful answers to every question that was posed to her. Now a little more than a year later, I was able to catch up with Lisa and get an amazing update on the massive spike her career has taken in Hallmark and elsewhere. Again, Lisa was kind enough to give conscientious and considerate answers to every question sent her way. RH: What can we expect from Andrea in the upcoming Murder, She Baked film?

As mentioned in the introduction I believe that I understand human emotion well, I have always enjoyed phycology and think it fits hand in hand with acting, as it is in the most simple form finding the reason for people's behavior. I also have been steadily increasing in my skill and knowledge about acting due to my dedication to it, and I do not think it will disappear. Therefore I believe acting is the perfect career for me. Although it is an unstable job, it is a very flexible field, offering hundreds of different experiences over an extensive period of time. As said on an article published by Learn.org, “Experience is often vital to becoming successful in an acting career.”
For the past couple of year, acting is all I have know to do and it is something that I enjoy to do even though I do not get paid to do it. When acting, I do not have to be myself, but I am the character and when I am on a stage I do not get afraid or nervous because the people will not judge me. Some people will say that going into an acting major is not a smart decision because it's hard to get a job with it, but I'm willing to work hard and do
You're welcome. It's my pleasure. So, Sebastian, do you remember why you wanted to become an actor? I like acting because it's cool. I love to act.
