Anthony Garcia Bible as Lit Mr. Wignmen 26 February 2018 Joseph interprets dreams of two prisoners The king of Egypt decided to disobey their master by talking bad about him behind his back, the king of Egypt who was extremely powerful and fearless Pharaoh, the king of Egypt was infuriated with his two servants, Cupbearer and Baker, and due to his anger he decided to throw them in to a disgusting old prison. Joseph confronts cupbearer and baker and tells them to tell him their dreams and god will answer the questions they have. Cupbearer told Joseph “In my dream I saw a vine in front of me which was bursting with green everywhere, and on the vine were three branches. As soon as it budded, it blossomed, and its clusters ripened into juicy crimson grapes. Pharaoh’s cup, which was made of gold was in my hand, and I took the juicy crimson grapes, squeezed them into Pharaoh’s cup and put the cup in his fairly large hand.” This dream consisted of the cupbearer experiencing something miraculous in the next three days. Joseph told cupbearer ‘In three days you will be let out of prison, and you will become Pharaoh’s cupbearer again.’ Joseph also told cupbearer to to mention his name to the pharaoh so he can get out of that disgusting prison because he doesn't belong in there. The baker was hesitant to tell Joseph his dream at first but once he heard that cupbearer got good news he said ‘In my dream there were three baskets of white pastries stacked on my head. The top basket contained all kinds of pastries for Pharaoh, but the birds came and ate them from the basket on my head.’, and to this Joseph responded to the baker ‘The three baskets are three days. Within three days Pharaoh will lift off your head and stick your body on a pole. And the ravens will eat away your white flesh.” and …show more content…

He cried out “Some time ago, you were angry with the chief baker and me, and you imprisoned us in the palace of the captain of the guard. One night the chief baker and I each had a dream, and each dream had its own meaning. There was a young Hebrew man with us in the prison who was a slave of the captain of the guard. We told him our dreams, and he told us what each of our dreams meant. And everything happened just as he had predicted. I was restored to my position as cupbearer, and the chief baker was executed and impaled on a pole.” The pharaoh sent for Joseph at once and he was quickly brought from the horrible prison and brought to the Egyptian home. Joseph cut his beard and changed his clothes and came to the Pharaoh, the pharaoh then states to Joseph that he had a strange dream, and no one can interpret it, not even the wisest of men. The pharaoh had heard of Joseph gift from the city that he can hear a dream and be able to interpret it. Joseph told the pharaoh that he would use the power of God to help him determine what his dream was about. Then Pharaoh then told Joseph both of his dreams, the cow dream and the crops
