How To Obtain Success “The path to success is to take massive and determined actions”-Tony Robins. Tony Robins is correct, in order to be successful in college people must make the choice to go back to school. At least that is what I have taken from the quote. I choose to go back to school in order to further my career in the medical field. In order to be successful in college students should to choose a career they are passionate about, get to class on time, and study. Finding a career that someone is passionate about can be tough. Although it can come easy to a lot people. Some people know exactly what career they want when graduating from high school. Lynn F. Jacobs and Jeremy S. Most days’ students may just want to stay home and enjoy a day to themselves. It is good to have days to oneself; although, it does have consequences. Consequences could include unexcused absences, late work, no in class grade, and also not knowing what the class was about. Students should always try to make it to class. They should also try to stay on top of everyday distractions so that it does not interfere with school. They should get up every day and treat school like it is a full time job. Finally, last but not least study, study, and study. Studying is a major thing students need to do in order to have any success in college. They should make a certain time every day that they study. People should also think about having a study group and meet at least once a week. Having other people to study with can make it fun and relaxing. Students should make sure though when they are studying at home that it is peaceful and everything is
Who is to say that success cannot result from actively pursuing a career (internships, apprenticeships, etc.) rather than pursuing a college experience that may not be beneficial? It is critical to not confuse this, however, with Wilson’s fear that both the college path and career path remain unexplored. Not going to college definitely does not mean an easy way out; as much dedication is required as would be in school, as well as proper circumstances. For those that do require college though, a student loan may be a blessing in
In this quote Jobs explains what success had resulted from being a college
When you think of success what comes to mind? In sports it’s making it to the pros. In business it’s making your first million. In high school it can be as simple as acing that test you studied for all night. No matter what profession you are in, success is the desired goal.
Also, there are some students stuck it out in the college for one or two years, and they change their majors, start over, drop classes, and finally drop out without any degree. Schlack think going to college is not always the best option because those students who fail in college because they are not prepared for college, and people told them the only option for them is college. I think student will not succeed in college if they are not prepared. Students who think he or she won’t success in college they should find a job after high school or go to community college. Stephanie Owen and Isabel Sawhill in their article “should everyone go to college,” they believed that everyone should have the chance to go to the college, and it is very important in our life.
“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream another dream.” This quote, written by C.S. Lewis describes the motivation of college students around the world. Students attend college to broaden their knowledge in an environment dedicated to education and research. Although college is stressful and time consuming , having your dream career, is a huge life achievement. Having a job isn’t the same as having a career “I've learned that making a 'living' is not the same thing as 'making a life”(Maya Angelou). If you sell yourself short by not going to college you’ll end up working just to make ends means not because it's what you enjoy doing, it's due to your family counting on it. Those who go to college will end up having a better future than those who don’t. College is full of experience and to get that experience students need to get involved in campus and use all the resources that their campus offer. For my first semester at university I learned lots of information that helped me go through my first semester and I will keep using this resources until I graduate. and these resources are not just for school but also for my personal life. The first thing I have learned in college is how to manage my time and it's important to know that skill so that I would not waste time doing nothing and get schoolwork done and it won’t make me stressful because I have many assignment and project to do. and to always get done with my priority first which is my school work.

I would answer art history and always got a response like, “what are you going to do with that?”. Most parents and students don’t feel that there is a good foundation from learning Art History. It is often heard from high school and college students (influenced by their parents) that to succeed you must major in science, technology, engineering, or business.
Step one is to attend all of the classes. One may think that skipping out on class once or twice is fine, but then once or twice then becomes a few here and there, which then leads to being gone all the time. It may be the boring class that no one ever pays attention in, or it may be the class that is really easy to understand. Either way, students need to get to class. Being in class and absorbing the material is a great way to understand what is going on.
