“Never let the fear of striking out get in your way.” This quote by Babe Ruth shows how Babe Ruth always tried for what he wanted no matter what the circumstance had been. Babe Ruth has had a passion for baseball since he was a little boy and when he finally achieved his goals of making it to be playing as a professional baseball player nothing else would come even close to being as special to him as that. Babe Ruth was an important figure in the 1920s American History because of Babe Ruth would change the course of American baseball throughout many generations of the Major League Baseball history inspiring many other famous baseball players who have come to play.

Babe Ruth was born February 6, 1895 in Pigtown Baltimore, Maryland. Babe Ruth’s parents were Katherine Schamberger and George Herman Ruth, Sr. Babe Ruth was one of eight children where his sister, Mamie Ruth became his only sibling later on in Babe Ruth’s life. By the time Babe Ruth was seven years old his parents saw it as if George needed to be in a stricter environment
