There are many people who find it more satisfying to enhance the lives and to help other. People with same deliberation can become a certified nursing assistant and can start a new career. This will open the new future doors for you. To become a nursing assistant, you need a few weeks training and after that training you will be writing a certification exam. Once you have passed the exam, you will get the certificate. You will be legally entitled to work as CNA. CNA can work in the hospital and also they can work individually by visiting patients to their homes.

The training duration for a nursing assistant varies from state to state. There are many schools and colleges which are providing the nursing assistant training. The training is based on some basic nursing skills, patient care, laboratory procedures and maintaining the patient's record. The standard training is based on 11 modules. Students mostly spend 100 - 200 hours in the campuses which lasts from one to three months. There are some nursing homes where you can get training even without paying the fee. Once you meet the requirement, the nursing home will start training for you. You will be doing the class work and also be attending the patients in the wards under supervision of the senior staff or the trainer. This will help a lot to the students with their clinical training skills. Once you pass the exam and you get the certification, you will be hired by the nursing home and you will be working there.
