All of the biguns are responsible for the crimes. They are responsible for the crimes because they have no proof on whether it was a murder or an accident. The only proof it was a murder was Ralph saying “Only two [killed] And, they’re gone”(Golding, 1954, p. 201.). Another reason they are responsible for the crimes is that there is no proof who did it. If I was the judge, I would think they’re all guilty because they have no proof. I would say that the little-uns are innocent because they really couldn’t kill the biguns.
