Brutus has very strong feelings towards Caesar and him becoming the king of Rome. He believes that if Caesar becomes king he will be kind at first but then will abuse his powers and make bad choices for Rome. While planning Caesar’s murder Brutus is having a hard time pretending to smile and act as if he was not going to murder anyone. His wife Portia, knows that something is bothering him and begs him to tell her but he will not say a thing. Caesar is not listening to his sign from the soothsayer to beware and is still deciding to go. Caesar’s wife is begging him to stay home. Calpurnia tries to get Caesar to stay home but he is still unsure. Casca is in the conspiracy and convinces Caesar to not stay home. Brutus wants to put a sting
Julius Caesar Back Round On JC Born roughly around July 12 or 13th 100 BC in Rome and died March 15th 44 BC Politically adept/ Popular Leader of the Roman Republic Transformed Roman Empire by expanding its geographical reach and establishing an imperial system. Caesar joined the military to escape having to divorce his first wife Cornelia who's father was a political rival of the current dictator Sulla. JC returned to Rome after friends eventually convinced Sulla to allow him to return and after Sulla's passing began Caesar's in depth dive into Roman politics and prosecuting. Even after all Caesar did for his country a year after he returned to Rome and was claimed as dictator then hailed as Father of his Country he was savagely assassinated.

The fact that Brutus states “Since the quarrel will break no color” (11,1,28-29) this proves that multiple characters are able to manipulate Brutus easily because he believes what the men tell him; even if their statements are not true. Caesar makes claims that to Brutus are irrelevant. Brutus finds that Caesar speaks with dull, meaningless words. Brutus is in contrast with what is happening at the beginning of the play; Brutus first agreed with Caesar’s actions, Brutus was then manipulated to believe Ceasar is in constant error. Also revealed in the play when Casca states ”Are not you moved, when all the sway of the Earth shakes like a thing unfirm” (1, 111, 3-4) Casca states this to Brutus, Casca is revealing that Caesar is like the storm coming through town.

His parents were Aurelia Cotta and Gaius Caesar whom even though both born aristocrats they were not wealthy at all. Caesars Aunt Julia married Gaius Marcus who was a esteemed political figure during this time period.
The ancient civilization of Rome has a rich and extensive history. From 509 BCE to 27 BCE, the roman republic was founded and run by many virtuous and honorable men. Many of these men are legends for their noble actions both on and off the battlefield. They have fought and defended the city with their lives. Many of these men have even killed people in order to protect and preserve the city of Rome.
Brutus has a vision, and he intends it to work out in every way he plans. In a sense he achieves what he wants, and killing Caesar may have been crucial to his short-lived success.

When Brutus was talking to the conspirators Brutus was going back and forth think if he should help the conspirators kill Julius Caesar. He was going back and forth because he was thinking of the power he could have and could rule Rome. The reason behind Brutus killing Caesar was for the better of Rome. If Brutus would not have killed Caesar, Rome would have turned into a dictatorship, and in turn it would have ruined Rome and all of its people. Brutus did not kill Julius just for the power to rule Rome, he killed Julius to save Rome from Caesar’s dictatorship.
In this scene Caesar has been murdered by the conspirators including Brutus. Brutus is one of Caesar's good friends who is driven by honor; who thought Caesar’s ambition was going to be the end of Rome. Antony is a very loyal friend of Caesar’s who does not agree with the conspirators. Brutus and Antony are both smart well thought out characters. They desire to persuade the commoners to their side of the situation.
Caesar can't believe what he just read, especially to find that his best friend Brutus was in the midst of this mess. Caesar decides with great anger that he is going to fix this problem by plotting revenge to kill
In the Shakespearean play Julius Caesar, there are two relationships displayed. One relationship is that of Calphurnia and the character of which the play is entitled, Caesar. The other relationship represented is of Portia and Brutus. While both relationships are of that of a husband and wife, they are shown as very different couples. In the couples ' dialogues in Act 2, it is revealed that while Portia and Calphurnia both worry about their husbands, Brutus and Caesar appreciate and trust their wives differently.
The Tragedy of Julius Caesar The evil that men do lives after them; the good is often buried with their bones. This means that after somebody is bullied the words said to them stay with them even after the person dies. Most good people are often forgotten about what they done in their lives. Caesar was still talked about a lot even after his death by the people of Rome he is still talked about to this day. Mark Antony talked about him in his speech about how good of a man Caesar was.
Literature is fundamental for us, because is a require we need to learn. In this case I read the book Julius Caesar of the author Shakespeare. When i finish reading this book, I notice the theme from this author is going to talk about dramatic events. In this essay I’m going to talk about “Who is the protagonist in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar?” also I’m going to give my three reason what I consider that they are the life of Julius Caesar, society, and last one my opinion.
