I am attending Colorado Christian University to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I started my medical career as a Combat Medic in the US Army. Since then I have become a Registered Medical Assistant and a Registered Phlebotomy Technician. I now work in a dialysis clinic and soon will be a Certified Dialysis Technician too. I decided to become a nurse because I feel I am capable of achiving it. I also want to continue to climb the ladder until I am in a position that I am being challenged every day. I also want to live comfortably in these harder economic times. Growing up I was always an average student. I didn’t really know how to apply myself and in some classes I did’t care to because they were uninteresting to me. It wasn’t …show more content…
I constantly search for a challenge and have a tendancy to get bored easily. Working in dialysis is fascinating, but I am limited in my scope of practice as a Technician. I have begun to watch the Charge Nurse and Physicians Assistant and I try learn and understand why they make the decisions that they do. I can’t make those decisions myself but I can continue my education to put myself at that level where I am being challenged to solve problems on a dally basis and I’m no so limited to a point where I’m getting stir crazy in my work. Lastly, I would like to be able to live comfortably. Times are hard and everyone just wants to be able to pay their bills and live without financial worry. I know the higher I climb and the harder I work, the better it will be for my family and me. I have dreams of traveling and exploring the world, and my daughter knowing that there’s more out there than just Grand Junction, Colorado and, unfortunately, money is what makes that happen. So I might as well work hard for it! My goals here a Colorado Christian University are pretty straightforward. Learn the skills I need, and excel at those skills so I can use them in a strong profession. Use these skills to grow and develop as well as provide for my family and be a positive role model to my daughter and other people out there that think they are just
With that in mind, I ask myself what I want to achieve in life. Simply put, I want to experience all that there is to experience in the world. I want to leave this world with an impact as great as Abraham Lincoln or Martin Luther king Jr. I want to be the President of the United States and be able to change the world.
A major goal of mine is to be able to travel, not only to see other parts of the world, but also to see how different cultures and the people in them operate. I have always been fascinated by people and am specifically interested in the drives behind humans. Missouri State has led me to a passion for religious studies, which is a major
The infamous answer to the question, “What is your primary goal for going to school?” is “to further my education, get a job, and be successful” such a cliché if I must say myself. My goal attending school is to make my family happy, as well as myself. In high school, I did not apply myself like I should have done because I was not sure if college was in my favor. Also, being the child of a single parent wanting to attend college seemed impossible, especially far from home.

Becoming an Anesthesia Assistant would allow me to work as a healthcare professional, help people in their time of need, and have an increasingly dynamic career. I know that my attention to detail, creativity, and critical thinking capacity developed over years working in the medical field make me an ideal candidate for the Master’s of Medical Science in Anesthesiologist Assistant program at Emory University. As my life progresses, I have created a desire for a profession that offers a varied assortment of opportunities. I find it gratifying to have a career that is not only rewarding for caring for surgical patients, but also the attraction of a career that is a life long learning process. The attractiveness of a career with different possibilities and education expansion is energizing and motivational.
I am a firm believer that in order to be happy and successful, you need to have a job that you love to do. This ideology is what motivated me to want to become a nurse practitioner and help the people in my community. Attending California State University, Los Angeles is allowing me to pursue my academic goal of getting into the nursing program. I aspire to get my bachelors of science in nursing to be able to become a registered nurse. After gaining experience as a registered nurse, I will pursue a master of science in nursing to become a nurse practitioner.
A job that I want to have to be exact. I want to be successful and not have to worry about money or food. I want to own a house of my own. I do not want it to be gigantic, however I do want it to be nice and cozy. I do not want it to be messy and dirty all the time.
I want to make sure my career is on solid ground before settling down and trying to support others financially before I can even support myself. A family will forever be a goal of mine. A happy, loving husband and two kids. I know you can’t pick your kids in order but if I could I would chose to have a boy first and then a girl. I dream of kids, a husband, and a big dream house far away from Ava,
I thought I knew what career path I wanted for my future, with that in mind, I sought a degree in Fitness and Human Performance to continue with a career in Occupational Therapy. In this career choice, the way I got to help patients was through therapy. While taking classes, I realized Occupational Therapy is not what I truly was passionate about. I decided to take my mother’s advice and choose what I truly love to do, which is to help people all around and I believe the nursing program would be the best fit. I am currently completing my certified nurse program to proceed with a job as a patient care technician.
My educational goal is to pursue my passion of woodworking. From a very young age I dreamt of owning my own business. I 've always dreamt of going to college, and majoring in mathematics and business to be one step closer to my goal. I knew from a very young age that my dreams of going to college would be slim, because my mother, as a single parent worked to keep my brother and I content. It was difficult for her because, she was involved in an accident, that the doctors said she would never walk again.

but I would also like to transform myself into someone who works even harder. I would like to help people more than I do because that is one of my favorite things to do. By starting this journey going to school, I know whenever I get a job that within the job I will be helping many people which is another reason why I chose this to be my career path.
