in my experience, it's not the surface that matters, but the things deep underneath, nature is like that. for some people, the mere thought of poison ivy, ticks, bees, and other disgusting things bring grimace's to their faces. they got so caught up in all that they don't realize how wonderful and beautiful nature is. on September 18, 2005, I went on a trip to the Chesapeake bay, not too far from Richmond Virginia with my classmates. one of my trips most interesting experiences was going on a night hike. we didn't turn on any of our flashlight, and there weren't, and light except the stars. I was annoyed by the bugs and worried about stepping on things i couldn't see, until I looked up at the stars since we were not near a city's lights. the
