New England was fed up with the Church of England and the Puritans wanted to recreate their own religion which they thought was more New England was dissatisfied with the Church of England and the Puritans wanted to reconstruct their own religion which they thought was more what God had believed was the intended belief. They both decided that neither of them admired the way England was assembled and said that England was unessential beliefs. They planned to leave England and go to the new world to establish a life where their children had the chance to be raised in a perfect society with no corruption. Pennsylvania was mainly Proprietary, because the king gave them land so they could establish their own colony. His goal for this newly established colony was to allow freedom of religion due to his desire to protect himself and fellow Quakers from persecution. They formed the Virginia Company and went to establish an English settlement in the Americas. They were in competition with the Spanish because the Spanish had already established their own land in South America and they received great wealth so they wanted to do the same.The colonists were not dominated by a single religion and they gave to religious freedom, but they were predominantly Anglicans and Baptist. Their economic activity was based on the Triangular Trade, they traded tobacco, cotton, corn, vegetable, grain and livestock. Their climate and geography had impacted their economic activities. The colonists used slave plantations which enabled them to have people do work for them for however long they wanted to. They traded their crops for supplies that couldn't be made on the plantations like farming tools and other non crops. They elected their own legislature and they were all democrats. They were both Royal and Proprietary, which meant the king granted them land and they were ruled directly by the English
