Equality For All Dr. Martin Luther King was a prestigious figure during his time in 1950-1960’s. Know about his fight for social equality for all people. He dealt a great effect towards how we all live our lives today. Throughout his time he was worldly known for speeches such as “I have a dream” and many others. One in particular being “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop.” Which was in fact Dr. King’s final speech ever given. In this speech he discussed many controversial viewpoints, and how each one went against the goal social equality. He was able in doing so by using clever rhetorical devices and projected his viewpoint in simpler manner. For example, the way he conveys his ideas was presented in many ways ,one of such being the use of allusions. In which ones references historical event, figure, or work of art. Such examples can be seen in a quote said in paragraph 22 “God sent us by here to say that you’re not treating His children right”. In this he is clearly referencing the Bible. By which in doing so he is stating that: those who do not see the injustice they are acting on other human are going against the God’s word. This can also be shown in Luke verse 6:31 “Do to others as you would have them do to you”. Thus, Dr. King is invoking people to change their ways in order to live as God wants them to. This is furthermore presented in another allusion Dr. King used to again referencing this very exact idea. “Finally, a man of another race
