Javier “Chicharito” Hernández was born on June 1, 1988 in Guadalajara, Mexico, to Silvia Balcazar and Javier Hernández. He was inspired to play soccer because he was born into a family where both his father and grandfather were professional soccer players. Chicharito is currently not married and still playing soccer. When Chicharito was 9 years old he began his career of soccer at the C.D. Guadalajara Youth Soccer Academy. Angel Gonzalez was an uneducated Hispanic man from Illinois who spoke little to know English. Him and another man were both accused of abducting a woman out of her apartment building and then raping her. Angel Gonzalez was convicted for a crime he didn’t commit because he signed a confession in English and he didn’t speak English; however due to the hard work of the innocence projects he was exonerated due to DNA evidence. On July 10 1994 a woman was abducted by two men and then raped.
Today in the Dr. Maxine Merlino art gallery I was part of an interview with Artist Norax Ayala. She grew up in the Inland Empire, and recently moved to Long Beach for graduate school. She has always loved art, and she was always coloring when she was younger. She then moved on to watercolor painting, and then real painting when she got older. Hernan was a part of an expedition funded by the king of Spain to spread Christianity and to acquire wealth from various places in the Americas (mainly island countries). Cortés heard of the rumored wealth of Mexico. Cortés and a group of men disobeyed orders to stay in Cuba, and made their way to Mexico.

Hector Noriega’s childhood had been marked by trying events. Growing up in a family in which selling narcotics was the source of income, there was always this great feeling of uncertainty. The feeling that on any day you could return home to learn everyone you love had been killed, the feeling that your father ordered the killing of the man you had just seen dead on the street, the feeling that you were going to be next. While his family was wealthy and he had benefitted from that fact early on in his life, that all changed on Cinco de Mayo, 1997. Las Casas is known for his famous writings which weren’t published until many years after his death. Las Casas was not like any ordinary man in his time period. He opposed to several things the Spanish had against the Natives.
Narciso Rodriguez was born January 27th, 1961 in New Jersey. He is the son of Narciso Sr. and Rawedia Maria who are Cuban immigrants. Rodriquez is the oldest of three children, and the only boy. When he was in elementary school, he developed his liking to sketch. By the time he was in high school, he was taking art classes and was an apprentice with a tailor.
On November 15,Officer Jeronimo Yanez was charged with manslaughter and various gun charges due to a shooting at a routine traffic stop. On July 6, almost 5 months ago, Officer Jeronimo Yanez pulled over Philando Castile, with the assumption that he was involved in a robbery that happened a few days prior. Mr. Castile had his girlfriend and his child in the car when he was pulled over. After handing the officer his license and registration, Mr. Castile that he was armed, but there was a permit for the gun with his papers.
