The cold winter night in New York weren’t the best to live in. Living in New York by yourself was tough but with the job and little money I had earned with my job I got a “tenement” which was like a little room just shared by a few people I didn’t really know them but we meet working in the factories the “tenement”wasn’t that big but it was something and we needed a place to live. Having people live with you helped with the money paying it was difficult for the first couple months but it wasn’t easy for a lot of people. Walking to the factory, every morning seeing those still living on the streets made me realize that I was lucky to have job working in the factories because I was one of those who lived on the streets. Working in the factories was awful because children were dying people were getting hurt everyday, people were getting tortured if you didn 't do something right. When I worked in the factories the hours were long they were from morning to night we didn’t get have very many breaks if we did they were very short some didn’t get have any at all. Children were even working in this kind environment I was a little surprised to see them here they getting treated worse than some of the adults. I know that moving here was for the best I may not have the best job or the best home not mention I don 't have any
Imagine your parents not loving you. Imagine the people that were supposed to provide for you, kicking you out onto the street to fend for yourself. Imagine your friends being too disgusted to talk to you. Imagine living your life constantly afraid. Imagine being terrified of the police, people that were supposed to protect you.
Being a child of immigrant parents is not easy. You are constantly living in the fear that one day you’ll wake up and you parents won’t be there with you anymore. Specially now that we have a new president, things are getting more challenging. But don’t get me wrong, I live a happy life. I am proud to call myself a Latina.
Why America? Is it because we give opportunities or is it because we let the people start all over with their lives? The United States over time has changed over the years because of how people come from parts of the world for better lives. Latinos over the year have been going up since the 90’s and still coming.
It’s hard to get through a day during the great depression. Everyday, my family worries about my father's job. Now there's one more thing to add to the pile of worries. The dust bowl. The storms have been going on for about 3 years now.
Immigration problem face by Immigrant entrepreneurs in U.S.A. Most small businesses in America are owned and operated by immigrates. They are face with the problem of deportation. They live with this fear of deportation because they can be send back to their various countries at any time from the country the love to do business in and creating and helping most Americans to provide them with jobs and they pay their taxes that increase the economy. The American Dream for Immigrants What does achieving the American Dream mean to you? Having extended amounts of money and freedom? Or is it having a sustainable job that pays a living wage and being able to provide for your family? Immigrants say “achieving the American Dream isn’t easy.
Immigrants live very tough lives. Should it be this way, or should we make it easier for them? Many people coming to the United States are thinking of their family’s future. Eventually, life might get easier for them, but becoming a citizen is very hard. For example, in Breaking Through, Francisco and his family had difficult lives because they were immigrants, like discrimination, poverty, and lack of access to affordable healthcare.
I am not confident in myself I have lots of doubts and not enough trust. My goals have changed, in fact I don 't have any or believe in them anymore because so far nothing seems stable enough to think about goals. I don 't know if I want to leave the U.S. and leave everything behind or stay here
Immigration in the Us Parties in the US have been debating for a while now over the issue of illegal immigrants populations. There are up to 11 million of them and about 6.2 million are Mexican. There are two major solutions people have come up with. The president feels that since Mexicans are the have the more than 50% of the illegal population, that we should focus on them, Currently he is planning on building a wall around Mexico to increase border security there. There are a lot of opposition to this idea because people think its racist to the Mexicans.
The industry had made the condition of the environment worse, there barely were any plants left. Everything was dark and dusty, and the streets very dirty, with trash in every corner. The air was thick, and it was hard to breath. I lived alone, in a small apartment. No pets, no other humans around me.
The Back of a Nonexistent Line In the film Documented and The New York Times article “My Life as an Undocumented Immigrant,” Jose Antonio Vargas describes his experience as an undocumented immigrant in the United States and provides a passionate argument for creating a pathway to citizenship for others like Vargas, who are undocumented as well. Although both the film and article give the viewers and readers an insight into Vargas’ difficult journey, a particular scene in the film sends an unspoken message about the United States as a whole. In Documented, the scene in which Jose Antonio Vargas attends a Mitt Romney campaign rally is detrimental to the immigration debate because it demonstrates the need for Americans to be educated about undocumented

Immigrants motivations, experiences, and impacts shaped what an immigrant had to go through being a different person from another country. Although Americans dislike foreigners who came to the United States, immigrants had a role in political, economic, cultural, and social aspects of immigrants because of their motivations, experiences, and impacts in America. New Immigrants did not have it easy and went through obstacles natives, political figures, bosses and others had thrown at them.
