To what extent is Education responsible for poverty and misery? Education is one of the few things a person is willing to pay for and not get. Russell (1872-1970) English philosopher, mathematician, and writer. People who lack education are the people who are not been taught. The cause of this is that the majority of the people are poor. There are even people who stop their children to go to schools because they want them to work, again the issue here is money. They want them to work and not be educated. Because of money issues people don’t get to pay the fees of the schools. They do have educational centers but still some people of the country do lack education which brings the literacy rate of a country down. These countries are also called Periphery countries. Pakistan has now been improving a bit in quiet a few years. India has also been improving their standard of education. India had cost around $40 billion in the year of 2008 for private education market. But they should still focus on their professors who have not got a PhD or a master’s degree. And there is one more problem, according to me, is that they should also spend money on the government schools in the rural areas because there is a lot of poverty still in India and not many people can afford to send their children to private schools.
