Problem/Need: The FFA camp for our FFA district has been hosted for many years. Every year FFA students from our FFA district attend this camp. Its purpose is to help students establish leadership qualities and allows them to interact with new people. They have recently contacted FFA advisors from the district asking for donations for a new charcoal grill. The one they previously had has been used so much it has rusted severely and has got to point where it is unusable. They use this grill to cook for the members that attend the camp each year. Without it they are not able to cook all of their food items for the campers.

One being cost. The price of steel is high and cost is a major issue. The overall total for the project was going to be around five hundred dollars. Hosting a fundraiser was considered to raise the money for the materials. Instead, I consulted my FFA advisor, Mr. Hackman, to discuss the cost issue. We discussed the project and took into consideration the overall expense of the material: steel, paint, and welding supplies. Since the project was being donated to the FFA camp for our chapter, Mr. Hackman decided to fund me through our FFA chapter.. Another problem with this project is the design. The grill needs to be sturdy and be able to withstand high temperatures. Therefore, the material of which the grill would be constructed with had to be considered. Stainless steel would have been the best option; as it would hold up to high temperature and would never rust, however stainless steel is very costly. Thus leading me to my next problem. An alternative to stainless steel had to decided. Aluminum would have never rusted; however aluminum is not sturdy and could not withstand the high temperatures of which the grill would undergo. Hot rolled steel was the answer to this problem. It can withstand high temperatures and is very sturdy, however steel will rust. That is what happened to the grill they currently have. The solution to this problem is to paint the steel with high heat paint which will also withstand the high temperatures of

Workers are trained to provide sit-down and carry-out meals in addition to catering and banquet services. When apprentices are released from the Grill 's training program, it 's with a new lease on life. Many leave to go to other restaurants in the city. Some stay on at the Grill to work for it full time. Dare U To Care Grill is casual, but the food is amazing.
This paper discusses the review of the Ontario Court of Appeal between Trinity Western University v. The Law Society of Upper Canada. The structure of this paper will begin with the facts of the case which includes both the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Divisional Court decision, and the conflicting issues of the case. Dear Senator Morrell, Mt. Kingdom Missionary Baptist Church will be giving away Thanksgiving Baskets and also feeding the needy and homeless a hot meal. Once they have a full group inside of one area, they detonate the claymores that they hid around the grill killing nearly all of them almost instantly. Without that stove the group wouldn’t
I. Attention Grabber: Safety and shelter. These are two very basic needs that many of us take for granted. But sadly these two needs are denied to many women and children within our community. II. Thesis: Domestic violence twists the lives of many women and children within our community, but through donations to The Shade Tree, we can help these victims and survivors gain control over their own lives and feel safe again.
Giving my time and dedication towards this group will also contribute to the growth and success of this program. I am willing to take
We could also help out this organization by making stockings including items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and deodorant. If any of you
Although most of my involvement has centered around politics, where I have been an active volunteer in the current election cycle, my service also extends to the homeless community in the Quad Cities. After recognizing the extent of homelessness in Davenport, my friend decided to start a nonprofit 5K to benefit a local shelter and I immediately joined in the venture. By working with the shelter rather than independently, we were able to avoid the faults set forth in To Hell With Good Intentions. Our good intentions have donated over $10,000 to King’s Harvest Ministries, who uses funds in a way that raises the standard of living for the local homeless
Over half of all soup kitchens, food pantries and meal programs rely entirely on volunteers. And when you give your time, you get back something amazing in return: The feeling that you are helping families who need it. No matter what happens in the world, you absolutely have the power to make a difference. And now, thanks to a generous donor, each pledge can be matched with $1 to help provide 11 meals up to $20,000.
Policies and guidelines for student fund-raising activities are located in the Student Handbook
e. How would you gauge the project’s success? Could success be measured? If so, when? Ans.
