The usage of Fossil Fuels in the United States has become a very confrontational issue for many decades. In fact, Carbon dioxide, which is produced from the combustion of a fossil fuel, “has increased by about 7% between 1990 and 2013” (Overview of Greenhouse Gases).
This increase in carbon dioxide emissions, which is a greenhouse gas, boosts the temperatures of our environment and dramatically changes habitats. Consequently, this is from daily human activities and by large industrial companies. Luckily, there are many solutions for using and burning fossil fuels and decreasing the amount of Carbon dioxide emissions that are put into the atmosphere with other harmful greenhouse gases.
