There are so many pressing issues which results into negative consequences of the globalized world. One of such tensions is the creation of a free market economy, which promoted a self-enrichment of developed nations against the developing countries in several ways; The relationship between the corporate organizations and the policies of the world bank, International Monetary fund ( IMF) and World Trade organization ( WTO), which were constantly influenced by capitalist states and led to the transfer of investments from developed economies to developing countries that have very weak laws. These corporations end up exploiting the poor people by paying low wages and buy raw materials cheaply in order to maximize profit.
According to The Intelligent Economist; it’s a market that promotes the production, sales of goods and services with little or no control from any central government agency, firms and households act in self interest to determine how resources and expenditure are determined, how production is conducted and who buys the product. What is best for businesses and

The advantages and disadvantages of free market are necessarily preconditions or effect on each other.
It can be argued that free market economy facilitated by globalization in not a perfect concept neither are completely regulated economies, governments should try to strike a balance between free market and the amount of government regulation needed to protect the people and the environment. If the government can strike this balance, the public will be protected and businesses will also
According to Eric Foner is his book, Give Me Liberty!, even though the market revolution and westward expansion occurred simultaneously in the North and the South, their combined effects heightened the nation’s sectional divisions. In some way, the most dynamic feature of the American economy wins the first thirty years of the nineteenth century was the rise of the Cotton Kingdom. It all started during the industrial revolution, which centered on factories producing cotton textiles with water-powered spinning and weaving machinery. All of these factories produced a massive demand for cotton.
The Government controls the economy and try to perform the best situation through regulations. Occasionally, rules in the economy are useful, but in some cases these rules may make it worse than good. Then, the best alternative is deregulation that is when the government reduces or eliminates restrictions on business, industries, etc. It happens when the enterprises protest against the government restrictions which hampers their ability to compete. Of course, deregulation is not a fast neither an easy process.
Chapter 2 Outline Building On What You Know Our economy in the United States is called a free enterprise system Free enterprise = the people in their economic roles are free to make choice The Pillars of Free Enterprise A free enterprise system functions best when it is supported by 6 social and legal pillars Private Property Specialization Voluntary Exchange
The first reason the American government should support greater economic freedom is that it will create more jobs and lower debt in the process. America will be seen with greater economic opportunity “driven by education, energy, innovation, and infrastructure, and a tax code that helps to create American jobs and bring down the debt in a balanced way” (Democratic Party Platform, 1). Many people doubt that it can be done, but Democrats believe “it will succeed because American people never fail and they can accomplish anything together” (Democratic Party Platform, 1). As long as Americans stand united anything is possible.
What goverment is trul best for this country? What govermetnt truly secrues the rights and libirtys of the people? Federlist or anti-federlsit? goverment more than anything else defines a country. is it to be succsesful or a failure, are the people to prosper or suffer?
Anti-federalist or federalist? Both have some advantages and some disadvantages. Federalist wanted to see a change, whereas the anti-federalist wanted to keep the monarchy government, in other words they wanted to keep our government the way it is, they wanted to stay with the British government. This would cause hostility toward the government, considering the violence already happening between the government and the people. Having a monarchy people didn’t have a word or an opinion in what is happening around them in their own country.
When the Founding Fathers were planning the country, each one had different ideas on what the country should be like. Some favored a strong central government, others saw that strength in the states would make for a better government. Most of the time, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison are seen as the two biggest influences, and opposing views on the role of the federal government. Jefferson opted for a weaker central government, with stronger states and more individual rights, while Madison favored a strong central government, and weaker states. Given that the country was founded on ideas of liberty and democracy, Thomas Jefferson is the more correct of the two.
3. Globalization Throughout the last decades, globalization became a real phenomenon, but history tells us that it is actually not a new social, historical phenomena, but has, under different names and manifestations, been with us for a long time. It is actually not only the continuation of the liberalization of international trade, which began in the mid-19th century with the launch of cross-border trade over long distances and later with intensive large-scale mobility of labor and capital. During capitalism, globalization has amplified due to the lust for profit, which is driven by capitalists across the globe. Indeed, globalization has significantly strengthened ever since.
Ronald Reagan once said “Government 's first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives.” Government is necessary for structure and stability however it needs stricter limits when it comes to interfering with people’s decisions in life. I agree that political, economic, and geographic concerns are meant to be taken care of by the government. When it comes to social issues I do not agree they need to be heavily involved although they have the right to create and pass laws on social issues such as race, religion, and abortion, when certain laws overstep boundaries that should be made clear when separating social and political affairs it is no longer the government’s responsibility. To ensure this I believe we need a representative democracy, less government involvement in social issues, a free market economy, and focus on growing the economy while still being cautious of the environment.
INTRODUCTION An economic system is defined by the various processes of organizing and motivating labour, producing, distributing, and circulating of the resultant of human labour, such as merchandise and services, consumer durables , machines, tools, and other technology used as intake for hereafter production, and the infrastructure within and through which production, apportionment , and circulation occurs. These arrangements are intended by the political, cultural, and environmental conditions which they co-exist together (Gemma; 2014). In a command economic system or planned economy, the federal government controls the economy by deciding how the state would use and distribute resources. The government also regulates prices and wages
1) Government may intervene in a market in order to try and restore economic efficiency. One of the ways the government intervention can help overcome market failure is through the introduction of a price floors and price ceilings. If prices are seen to be too high, price ceiling or a maximum price could be imposed on a market in order to moderate the price of the product. This policy is often used when there are concerns that consumers cannot afford an essential product, such as groceries. The effect of a maximum price could create a shortage as it could lead to demand exceeding supply for that particular good.
Liberal Democracy is a democratic system of government in which individual rights and freedoms are officially recognized and protected, and the exercise of political power is limited by the rule of law. The word democracy is greek, the word “demos” means people and “kratos” means power. The idea of liberalism first began in the 1600’s with John Locke as he believed that the people should be allowed to remove the government currently ruling when they have misused their power for ulterior motives. Although the seed was planted in the 1600’s, liberal democracy only properly took form in the 1840’s in Canada. Australia and New Zealand followed not long after as they began to use the secret ballot system to elect political leaders.
Advocates of private enterprise contend that it makes more thriving than another financial framework, and that its profits are basically to the common individual. Commentators of private enterprise differently relate it with financial precariousness, a powerlessness to accommodate the prosperity of all people,[17] and an unsustainable risk to the nature's turf. Communists keep up that, in spite of the fact that free enterprise is better than all formerly existing monetary frameworks, (for example, feudalism or bondage), the disagreement between class diversions might be determined by propelling into a totally social arrangement of creation and appropriation in which all persons have an equivalent relationship to the method for generation.
Nowadays, in the light of the development in technology, especially in transportation and media, trade and communication has increased rapidly among countries. This trend is called globalization. Generally speaking, globalization has its own advantages and disadvantages. The development in international trade and communication has created employment and opportunities for millions of people, but it has also made poor countries poorer. In my opinion, globalization has both positive and negative aspects.
Economic globalization refers to the free movement of goods, capital, services, technology and information around the world. Since the 1990s, due to the improvement of advanced communication technologies and the rapid expansion of multinational corporations, economic globalization has become an important trend of the world economic development. This trend not only provides a broader space for international markets for all countries, but also aggravates the competition among countries for market and resources. Economic globalization is an inevitable result of the development that no country can evade. In this paper, we will discuss that economic globalization is beneficial or not to developing countries.
