After the end of the French and Indian War, the French lost to the British. They then left North American but not without first ceding all of their territories to the British in 1763. Before the end of the war, the British had some relation with the colonists and Natives. The Iroquois tribe and the colonists sided with the British while the Huron tribe sided with the French. In the beginning of the war, France was winning but then there was a turning point for the French. The British ended up defeating the French and gaining plenty of territory with the Treaty of Paris which also ended the French and Indian War.
