Gun control endangers American’s constitutional right to bear arms. Politicians and civilians alike mistakenly think that revoking our constitutional right to keep and bear arms will ensure the end of gun violence in our country. Taking away our guns by criminalizing the purchase or ownership of guns will not keep weapons out of the hands of violent criminals. If we criminalize guns the violent gun-slinging criminals we worry about would continue to purchase them illegally through the black market. Marginalizing our right to bear arms endangers civilians due to the fact that those laws only affect law abiding citizens, rendering them defenseless. Regardless of what they may think, the government has no means of eliminating the illegal …show more content…
Rugby, in essence represents somewhat of a hybrid between American football and Soccer. Football and Rugby both require full-contact, although in rugby you play wearing no protection other than a simple mouth-guard, this fact often flabbergasts first time observers. To pass the ball you must pass it either backwards or to the side, forward passes earn the team a penalty in rugby, this forces you to either run or kick the ball if you want to reach the in-zone. Standard games of rugby last a total of eighty minutes while your average football game lasts only sixty minutes. During a game of football every time a player gets tackled the play stops, but in rugby when a player gets tackled the two opposing sides continue to fight for possession of the ball only stopping when one of the teams score, break a rule or someone gets injured. Members of a rugby team do near the exact same thing as football players only, with no pads, very few breaks and greater limitations. Overall rugby players need to challenge themselves far more if they want to win a match, in a game of rugby your average football player, professional or not, would find themselves quickly
I think professional football should be played. The risk of the players getting hurt is pretty high. But the players know that when they enter professional football there is a posibility of getting a concussion. even in reck football there is a posibility of getting a concussion. If the players want to play then let them play.
Imagine you are a hunter, you own a gun, use it legally and responsibly, it is your prized possession. How would you feel if our government banned guns and took the right to keep and bear that gun away from you? In this country, there are people that live in the mountains like Alaskans for instance, that use their guns to get their food. These people live in remote areas, do not have groceries stores or neighbors nearby. As a matter of fact, their food supplies are wild game, such as deer and duck, that they hunt for food.
Gun control has been a controversial issue for many years. Many citizens believe that if gun control is strictly enforced it would reduce the threat of crime. People have the right to bear arms for protection, or even just the pleasure of hunting and recreational activity. With the recent events involving firearms and mass shootings, people are skeptical whether to increase or decrease gun laws. Americans have a constitutional right to own handguns and stricter laws and licensing will not effectively save lives.
Gun control is what restricts people from buying and using guns, but these laws are not strengthened at the extent they need to be strengthened. This leads to many people getting these guns and using them to cause mass shootings all over the U.S. For example, according to the Council on Foreign Relationship, a news article that covers major world issues, in 2017, mass shootings at a music festival in Las Vegas and at a church near San Antonio have rekindled the gun control debate (“U.S. Gun Policy: Global Comparisons”). The fact that gun control is still not tightened is a huge margin and error, and still causes mass shootings as we just covered. Many people have said that we should not allow guns to be purchased, which would seem like the logical option. However, according to the same source, Council on Foreign Relationship, some states, such as Idaho, Alaska, and Kansas, have passed various laws attempting to nullify
Many people understandably think that football is just too violent to have around. Most players however, will not suffer major health effects or degenerative brain diseases later in life. Football isn’t too dangerous or immoral to watch or play. There are several other sports that are more dangerous than football. Rugby for example is basically football without pads.
They both have 11 players on the field within the game. Both sports are contact sports and are played outside. Each sport takes place on a field. Some fields within a stadium may use real grass while other fields may use synthetic grass. A football field is 120 yards long, including two 10 yards deep end zones on both end and 30 yards wide.
A big difference is the play types. The formations in college ball are very basic and simple. Every team runs similar plays in college they know what they are doing when they break the huddle. The NFL is a little different.
The different levels of high school football and college football and NFL have different varieties and styles. High school football is the lowest level of football. College football is comparable to middle-class football and requires more skill. The NFL is the all-time hardest to get into and play. There are ways of playing football and different rules.
Football has been crowned longer than the telephone. There was 150 million people watching super bowl 50. Football is safer than rugby why Football is played with helmets that have been tested not to give you brain damage you are also given shoulder pads so you won’t get shoulder problems and football pants with 7 pads in them 2 at your knees and 2 at your thighs and 2 at your hips and 1 on your butt these are the reasons why football is safer than rugby. Football hasn’t changed as far the rules of the game since it was started. The only changes have been the gear you wear it makes the game safer for you and the guy you are hitting.
Many football players as well as soccer players are said to have even sustain concussions and injury’s. The difference between the two games is that of the scoring system and the difference in footwork. The object of the game is to score points by carrying the ball beyond the opposite team’s touchline. • On the one hand, when the team scores in football, it is referred to as a touch down. Once they score, the team gets 7 points on the board and they then try to kick a field goal in order to get more points on the board.
Over recent years mass school shootings and terrorist attacks have increased, but taking away gun rights is not the solution to the issues. Guns do not pull their own triggers; the people holding them do. Guns are not responsible for the damage caused by the people wielding them, and taking them away would leave law abiding citizens defenseless, as shown
Running; they both have running in football you run up and down the field. Baseball runs in a diamond shape. They both have running in this because what sport doesn’t have physical movement. They both run to stop or make a plays for example. Football they run for the ball to get thrown to them, and the defense runs to tackle the person who the ball is thrown to.
In football the quarterback is given the ball from one of his offensive lineman and then either hands the ball to a running back or throws it forward to a wide receiver. The ball carrier then runs downfield toward the end zone until he has either been tackled by a defender or has scored. In the event that the carrier has been tackled the ball is place in the spot where he fell and time is stopped until both teams are ready to resume play. Rugby however is played with continuous time that is not stopped unless a penalty has been called. A single player carries the ball downfield until he has been tackled by an opponent.
But even with all these similarities and resemblances, they also have a lot of differences which makes them two completely different sports. Soccer is a worldwide sport that most countries in the world play, root, and follow. It’s a phenomenon that is beloved throughout the world. Football is very well known worldwide too, but not all countries play it or have their leagues, which just makes it a national sport.
