In 1933, in Germany, Adolf Hitler and his Nazi party created a German Empire & Jews were no place in Hitler’s vision. Love & Laughter were two of the main things that made Jews and other people forget the time happening in the Holocaust, including nature. Almost 2,700,000 Jews were sent to extermination camps such as, Treblinka and Chelmno, where they were lately killed. How did Jews survive or get there mind off of the happening of the Holocaust? In 1941, a girl named Syvia and her family; Dora and her parents were forced to live in a ghetto including 164,000 Jews (Doc.A). Syvia’s mother did not eat her food because in (Doc.A) it said that there was not enough food for dinner. Syvia said “Momma doesn’t eat her meal, she gives it to me instaed”. In (Doc.A), Syvia and her family also experienced laughter. While they were at the table in (Doc.A), Papa told her that her mother was a noble women and that she gave Syvia life through pain and still did. Syvia thought about that and wondered why did it hurt her mom to give her life. Syvia asked “Didn’t I just pop out of her belly button”? She said to where everyone heard her and started laughing. In (Doc.C) Liesel, who lived with her foster parents, and had a Jew who had been hiding in their basement, were having so much fun and laughter they forgot that the ice was right there. Sissy craves nothing more than her mother’s love and attention, but she realizes that Rose can never give her them. In her childhood, Sissy did not care if the attention she got from her mother was good or bad, as long as Rose acknowledged that she was there. Sissy is very loyal to her mother, loving her, craving her attention.
Everyone who has learned about World War II should know about the Holocaust. The Holocaust was during the same period of World War II. “What is it called the Holocaust?” you may ask. The Holocaust originates from the Greek language and means “completely burnt offering to God.”
The Holocaust is the genocide of almost six million European Jews during World War II, in an intentional attempt to eradicate by the National Socialist German Workers’ Party known as Nazis in Germany under the command of Adolph Hitler. While the majority of people today understand at least vaguely what the holocaust was, yet there are actually an aggrandizing amount of people that don't fathom or apperceive what it involved. The holocaust was primarily a mission to eradicate all Jews, disabled, mentally challenged, blacks, gypsies, or anyone who wasn’t a pure Aryan off of the face of Earth. To be more specific the holocaust was to annihilate all Jews first because Hitler had some mental enmity with them. He had said that Jews were
Introduction: During the Holocaust, many people suffered from the despicable actions of others. These actions were influenced by hatred, intolerance, and anti-semitic views of people. The result of such actions were the deaths of millions during the Holocaust, a devastating genocide aimed to eliminate Jews. In this tragic event, people, both initiators and bystanders, played major roles that allowed the Holocaust to continue. Bystanders during this dreadful disaster did not stand up against the Nazis and their collaborators.

Even though she was mistreated by her mother, Tita felt obligated to care for her. She prepared her mother’s meals carefully and made sure everything was perfect. When her mother spit out the ox-tail soup and called it “nasty and bitter”, it made Tita feel like a fool but her conscience kept her loyal to taking care of her mother until she died. In another example, she finds herself taking care of Rosaura’s children. In a series of selfless acts, she is the wet nurse for her nephew, and then cares for her niece when her sister becomes bedridden due to a complicated delivery.
Dehumanizing is the taking away of human qualities. All of the Jews were dehumanized during the Holocaust. The Nazis dehumanized the Jews by loading them into cattle cars, tattooing them, and stripped them all naked. Eliezer and all of his fellow Jews were loaded into cattle cars like animals (98). They were loaded into car by the hundred.
Expository Report “We must do something, we can’t let them kill us like that, like cattle in the slaughterhouse, we must revolt”. These are the words from many men surrounding Elie Wiesel as he entered Auschwitz, calling out for rebellious toward the Germans harsh conditions. Of course they had no idea what they were getting themselves into, many thought that there was nothing wrong until boarding the cattle train that would send them off to their final resting place. Life during the holocaust was torturous to say the least, so much so that some 6,000,000 lives were taken during this time in Jewish descent alone. People of the Jewish descent did not have it easy; they either were forced out of their homes into concentration camps, or they would hide out only to be found and killed of they remained in their settlements.
