I completely agree with Woodrow Wilsons war message to join World War I. The United States did have a moral and humanitarian obligation to join. It was the only way to protect the world from German imperialism. They were too aggressive and needed to be stopped.
Too much restriction from Germany threatened freedom of the United States and the world. Germany did this by putting spies in many countries and by doing so privacy was hard to maintain and practically gone. The United States wasn’t the only one majorly affected, even some neutral countries became affected and this sparked the United States moral and humanitarian obligation to protect the world freedom.
Germany also destroyed a lot of innocent passenger ships and after they made a promise
