Youth Sports effect on young lives Youth sports can be a crucial part of developing kids life, not to mention their parents lives with all the driving, planning, organising, and the occasional drama from one soccer mom to another about how little timmy’s mom brought unhealthy snacks after the game. Youth sports have changed in many ways since I was little, now kids ,while dragging their family with them, are traveling across country for a game in a 8U league. Experts are always saying kids need to be more active, but to what extent some kids are spending their all their time playing these sports. But some aspects of sports have positives to them and some aspects are negative. Youth sports are affecting kids and their families’ lives in positive and negative ways. Youth sports are so needy when it comes to expenses, it was only just a few years ago that when someone joined a team the coach and the league supplied the equipment for the team. Some are even willing to do whatever it takes to get there including drugs. Most high school football players lift weights to make them better at the game, but if they are lifting in a bad environment it could push some bad ideas on them. Many gyms sell protein powders, shakes ,and bars to help the members get the correct amount of protein they need. Some gyms even sell performance enhancing drugs secretly so the bodybuilders and football players can lift more.
