Looking for Alaska Review
I found looking for Alaska by John Green a funny, exciting, sad but beautiful read. Looking for Alaska made me think about any decisions that maybe right or wrong, and how there are always consequences not always to yourself when you don’t make sensible decisions.

This book was so intense it had my full attention all the way through.
This book is like a jigsaw puzzle that slowly all fits together. I don’t think I’ve ever loved a book so much and after reading it I can’t wait for it to come out into the cinema, in 2016, so I can compare the book to the movie and see which I think is better.
I can honestly say this is my favourite book so far that I have read, I’ve recommended it to everyone I know even if they aren’t readers because it is such an easy and good read I’m not much of a reader, but I was encouraged to read this book and having read the book it has made me want to read more and more.
I think this book betrays teenagers is a very realistic way i.e. there’s quite a lot of sex, kissing, drinking and smoking.
In my opinion this book makes you think about what you are doing and how it can have massive impacts on lots of

The book really made me think of all the stuff that I take for granted, and how I should be more appreciative and how there are people with less than me who are just as happy if not happier. If you’re not a fan of books that are sad but shocking and at times harsh because you think they’re boring or they don’t fulfill you’re interests, then I would still recommend you try reading the book because it’s very intriguing but I can’t guarantee you’ll love it, and if you do enjoy books like that then I say it’s a must read! Such a great true
This book, can relate to people who don't usually believe that they can make a change. That they have no effect on the world. This book, tells you straight up, that if you change yourself, you can change the world around you. This is very motivating, and a very awesome
The ability the book have given me to understand the fundamental relationship between good and evil in a society that I take part of will help me become a more well-rounded and excellent contributor

It taught me that strength and perseverance can make a significant impact in life. I also learned that forgiveness and the ability to forgive is much more powerful than I ever realized. This novel sucked me into the story and its characters and took me on an emotional ride of highs and lows. Finally, it forced me to reevaluate my previous judgement of the homeless.
One night Alaska, the Colonel and Pudge are drinking and playing truth or dare when Alaska suddenly says she needs to leave. The two boys decide to light three strings of fireworks to distract the eagle, the strict school counselor, and create a divergent for Alaska to leave. Alaska escapes successfully but eventually runs into a police car and a truck who had jackknifed. She dies instantly and there will be a funeral held
Alaska is furious at the Colonel and Takumi for not leaving with her and Miles, but rather when they at long last escape class, the four stroll down to "the Smoking Hole" in the woods behind the school. They
Looking for alaska, The debut novel of John Greem. He has put a different spin on books, like this one. He has based on teenage life without putiing them in clichè a "boy meets girl" category. Miles Halter or "Pudge" as he is called throughout the book, the protagonist, leaves the hot yet humid son of Florida to attent a school in the scorching and sticky heat of Alabama. Pugde is not used to having friends.
For my research paper, I propose to investigate the novel, Looking for Alaska by John Green. The novel tells the story of teenager Miles Halter as he enrolls into boarding school to seek more in life than what he has now. In Miles’s words, he seeks “a great perhaps” (Green). Continuing, this novel deserves investigation to be viewed as powerful despite its controversial content. To begin, the first and clearest argument that can be made is that the novel deserves more appreciation than it is known for.
Miles is fond of reading biographies, and particularly of memorizing the last words of famous people. Soon after arriving at Culver Creek, Miles meets his roommate, Chip "The Colonel" Martin. The Colonel nicknames Miles "Pudge", due to Miles's slender physical appearance. He then introduces Pudge to his friends Takumi Hikohito and Alaska Young.
Alaska Young, the girl with more charisma and guilt than she knew what to do with. She spent her free time reading books. If she wasn’t reading books, she was pulling one of her infamous pranks. The staff hated her and the freshmen were her main targets. But Alaska had some dark secrets, some of them she didn’t plan on telling Miles, others, well she didn’t really have
Looking for Alaska mostly takes place in Birmingham, Alabama, at Culver Creek and the time of the novel is modern time. Miles Halter is the main character in this novel. Miles is the protagonist and he is also a dynamic character. Miles is a dynamic character because after
