Atlantis is a island that has a powerful advanced kingdom, that took a day and night to sink. They believe that it sank into the ocean during 9,000 B.C. Now we will talk about how this island even became existing, where it is located, and what is this so called island? How did they discover this island was existing at one point? There are a couple different theories on how the island came about. Ballard says, the legend of Atlantis is the only logical reason this island is gone. They have many different stories on where it was located. It could have been off the coast of Spain, under what is now Antarctica, or even in the Mediterranean.
