INTRODUCTION:
(1.) Can you imagine what kind of person it takes to become an F.B.I Special Agent? The F.B.I stands for Federal Bureau of Investigation. As an F.B.I Special Agent their main focus is to maintain their work and investigations within the guide lines of the law. Their daily job can save lives, and may cause them to even end some lives. It takes only the best trained skillful individuals to become a F.B.I Special Agent.
(2.) Today I will inform you about some of the requirements that must be met to become an F.B.I Special Agent, some of their different job duties, and salary.

I. To become a F.B.I Special Agent that person must be a United State citizen. He or she must have graduated and obtain at least a four year degree. The age to apply starts at the age of 23, but no older than 37. At least three years of professional work experience is also needed. Another requirement is a personal fitness test that each person must pass.

II. F.B.I Special Agents are to investigate alleged or suspected criminal violations. These violations may be federal, state, or local laws. F.B.I Special Agents gather evidence, establishes facts by interrogating suspects and witnesses. They also make arrests and testifies in front of grand juries. These agents investigate terrorism, civil rights, drug trafficking, national security issues, and organized crimes. A F.B.I Special Agent can also be required to work under cover, and be assigned a protection
The Internal Affairs Unit became the main anticorruption program as a response to crimes committed by officers during the course of their duties. This unit is task with investigating officers who are accused of misconduct. In order for the Internal Affairs Unit or designee (depending upon the size of the department) to be involved, the officer must be accused of displaying either unethical, unscrupulous or immoral behavior. These actions go against departments policy of less than professional standards and are investigator in an effort to maintain the communities respect.
Criminal intelligence refers to the process in which information is collected, organized, and analyzed to identify patterns of criminal activity, in an effort to help prevent or anticipate these. OSBI is basically the state police with state wide jurisdiction. The OSBI leads and assists local agencies with investigations into a multitude of crimes. The OSBI is broken into two primary working divisions, the field agents, and the lab technicians. The OSBI also can provide expert witnesses to provide expert testimony in court proceedings.

In order to become the FBI agent, a person has to finish bachelor degree in the forensic science, or psychology, or sociology. This rule works for every unit in the organization except the Behavioral Science Unit (BSU). This is the unit where all FBI profilers work. In order to be admitted in this unit, the person can have degree in any field. I know that in order to be this agent, I need to really focus, stay out of trouble and be the best I can in school because it will depend on my grades to get in the academy. I have some law enforcement blood in me and I would really be a good agent and maybe move on to being on the SWAT Team. My brother is already in the ARMY and is planning to get in the FBI, so if I could, this would be my number one choice.
