Who else is ready for Halloween? While everyone is goo-goo-ga-ga over all things pumpkin spice, I am currently counting down the days to Halloween. Halloween, the one day I can dress up and be anyone I want to be. While I love changing up my hair color, that 's as far I usually go. That 's why I couldn 't resist making this Halloween Witch Wreath, because it 's so me. My kids would tell you that yes "the witch is in".
This year Madison and I will be celebrating Halloween at Walt Disney World with Mickey and friends, at the Mickey 's Not So Scary Halloween Party. If you would love to join us, I wrote about what you can expect in a previous post. Since I won 't be around for Halloween, I wanted my home to reflect the season, but didn 't

Cut about 8 inches of your decorative mesh to use as your door hanger. Don 't worry, you should have enough to wrap around your wreath form.
Step 2. Wrap the remaining mesh around your wreath and carefully secure the ends ribbon in place with hot glue.
Step 3. Your witch sign comes attached with ribbons. Cut the ribbons so you can use the sign separately on your wreath. Arrange them on whichever side you prefer and hot glue them in place. For this, I placed it on the right. I didn 't notice that it wasn 't perfectly aligned until after I had already glued the sign in place.
Step 4. Attach your spiders and other decorations with your glue gun. I decided to add a few halloween colored branches by just sticking them in between the decorative mesh. This is optional, but I personally believe the added touch looks great.
Step 5. Tie your 8inch mesh that you first cut in step 1 and tie it around your wreath. This will be used to hang on your door.
Hang on your door and enjoy your one of a kind
Today I will be talking about the holiday we call Halloween. Halloween is where we all dress up in costumes and get candy from houses on the thirty first of October. Here are three things about halloween. First, I am going to be talking the history of halloween.
Houses that present a teal pumpkin show that they are safe to approach for children that suffer from food allergies or that have disabilities that make consuming candy a chore. It allows children to feel included and allows them to have a positive Halloween experience. The whole project was created to provide protection for children, teach acceptance, and to create more positive experiences for families.
In today’s society witches are usually linked with Halloween. Kids envision witches flying across a moonlit sky on broomsticks and having slinky black cats as pets. Evil cackling, pointy hats, bubbling cauldrons, and ugly physical appearances spring to mind. All of this is in good fun and people open their doors and give little witches candy and smiles. There is no fear.
Once you have the pumpkin chosen, it is now time to make sure you have all the utensils needed to create your very own masterpiece. You will need a blank sheet of paper and a pen or pencil to sketch out your design if you do not already have one. A few different sized knives to carve out the design and to cut out an opening on the top around the stem. A large spoon to scoop out the insides, a couple thumb tacks, a dark colored marker to draw visible lines on the pumpkin, and candle of your choice either wax or battery powered.
Tomorrow we begin the month of October. October gives us a full month of colorful autumn and ends with the spooky day of Halloween. There are people who enjoy this holiday especially children and those who think it a pagan event. Personally I have always enjoyed Halloween just for the fun of it with nothing other than that. A kind of autumn celebration with carved pumpkins, colorful leaves and the ghosts and ghoulies just for fun.
You also go out to haunted attractions like corn mazes and hayrides. Also Halloween is on October 31st and Dia
Now, if you are more of a DIY, you can buy some paper to make festoons and also some orange foam paper and draw some hand made footballs to post them on the walls or you can also make foam gloves by getting blue foam
In order to do this experiment we had to prepare by buying our supplies, and follow some safety steps. We had to use some safety gloves when handling soda ash because if we ate after handling it we could of gotten very sick. Also any supplies that came in any contact with the soda ash couldn’t be used for food after. Also we had to buy different types of fabric, cut them into 20 by 20 cm squares and label them. We had to buy some dye in order to find out how each fabric reacted to it.
We all know that on halloween the creepiest of things happen, this is what makes it so great to me. My best friend Blair and I have always celebrated halloween together. Blair and I have been friends since birth, our moms have also been best friends since they were very young. Since we were little we have always liked the same things but halloween was our favorite.
“Only 5 more days until Halloween”, screamed Abigail. I can not wait until it is Halloween because I feel like it is going to be one of the best ones yet. My brother, Adam and I had made plans to carve a pumpkin because I have wanted to do one for a long time. I asked my mom, Caroline, when we could carve one and she said,”You can do some today only if you finish your homework.” Ok I said and I better get started on my homework.
They are carved, baked, smashed, and painted. “So, prepare your pumpkins and your carving knife, because we couldn’t really imagine Halloween without pumpkins, could we? It’s not about making the best ones, it’s about enjoying a century-old tradition; and keeping Jack o’lantern away” (Mihai). But decorations also span from ghostly ghouls, fragile skeletons, and crawling insects, decorating around your home is a modern traditions that seems to keep going, from the darkest, spookiest colors to dangling spider webs. The colors are chosen because they are representing the colors of death, and after all it’s a day of celebrating the
I started my tessellation project with a three inch by three inch square note card. The first step that I took was to draw a curved line from the top left hand corner to the top right hand corner. Next I cut out the curved line out and taped it to the seam of the card. Then I traced the stencil that I created.
Remember to make the markings simple and the decorations inspired. A guideline for the signs: if you have twenty marks, make twelve of them relatively straightforward to grasp and the others just a tad harder. You do not need the kids to cry because they cannot know everything, but neither would you need the whole entire hunt to be over in 5 minutes. Theme Aside from the rather standard Halloween motif, you could also select a particular motif the kids will enjoy.
I crushed one clove and one nutmeg considering they made a thin layer of spices that could be sprinkled on the veil. However, this might not be the amount that the recipe wanted, but there is no way to find out. In addition, the recipe does not specify how the veil should be tied. I decided to just tie it the way I regularly do with my neck and hair completely
