Serial killer, that is one of many things Jeffrey Dahmer was known for. Jeffrey Dahmer had obsessive thoughts of violence, and sex. It got worse over time. He was one of the most infamous serial killers of the twentieth century. His crimes included luring victims into his home and strangling them before dismembering their bodies. A man ran to police officers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin claiming Dahmer threatened to kill him. When police arrived at Dahmer’s apartment they found polaroids of bodies in various stages of dismemberment. Since Wisconsin has no death penalty Dahmer was sentenced to 937 years behind bars. He was killed by a fellow inmate in 1994. Although Jeffrey Dahmer had a normal childhood, later in his lifetime he murdered seventeen people because of his deteriorating mental status.

He beat him because of his creepy sense of humor. Dahmer turned prison food into fake limbs covered with ketchup to resemble blood. Christopher Scarver was sentenced to two life terms in prison for killing Jeffrey and another man at Columbia Correctional Institution on November 28, 1994. “He said the confessed cannibal would leave fake limbs around the prison where others would find them” (Pearson, “Jeffrey Dahmer's killer explains why he did it”). He crossed the line with prisoners and prison staff. The newspaper quoted Scarver as saying, ““Some people who are in prison are repentant -- but he was not one of them” (Pearson, “Jeffrey Dahmer's killer explains why he did it”). The Post quotes Dahmer's former prison minister as saying the convict would make jokes about this cannibalistic past. ““If he saw a guard that was nervous and standing near enough to hear him, he would say, ‘I bite’”” (Pearson, “Jeffrey Dahmer's killer explains why he did

Jeffrey Dahmer Jeffrey Dahmer was a serial killer and cannibal born on May 21st, 1960 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He was born to loving parents and later attended the Ohio State University. He had a minor surgery at the age of 6 to take care of a double hernia which appeared to have an effect on him as he became insecure of himself. His father got a new job forcing the family to move to Ohio leading to him becoming antisocial and detached from society. He was also homosexual and had to repress it due to his parents strong catholic beliefs.
In 1989, Dahmer had a lucky escape from the law after encountering a 13-year-old Laotian boy which led him to be convicted of sexual exploitation and second-degree sexual assault. He pleaded guilty to these charges stating that the boy looked over 18. In March of 1989, while awaiting his trial, he lured, strangled, sodomized, photographed, dismembered, and disposed of an aspiring model named Anthony Spears and multiple other young boys. During his trial, he was sentenced to one year in prison, for which he would have been charged more but he promised to change and enter into rehabilitation programs. After he was released from prison, he developed routines and started to experiment with disposing of bodies using chemical means and eating the flesh and organs of his victims.
Jeffrey Dahmer, also known as the “Milwaukee Cannibal”, was born May 21, 1960. His strange behaviors began in his youth and continued through his adulthood. Dahmer murdered 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991. When Dahmer was a young child, he would go out and search for dead animals, and then dissect them at home.
The gut-wrenching way Jeffrey Dahmer decided to kill his victims is what allows people to widely remember him today. Dahmer being so invested into the cannibalism aspect also shocked the world because that wasn't a thing many people had heard of. Although Dahmer managed to carry out 17 of these nauseating crimes they quickly came to an end. Finally on July 22, 1991 two Milwaukee police officers spotted a man running down the street with handcuffs dangling from his wrist. The officers stopped him, in a reckless manner the man explained that he escaped a ¨weird dude¨ who threatened to use a butcher knife and cut his heart out.(World of Criminal Justice…)

After many close encounters with the law Dahmer was finally caught and arrested. He was sentenced to 15 consecutive life terms, and later murdered by another prison inmate in 1994.
His trial began in January of 1992. When the trial started, Dahmer had an eight-foot bulletproof glass barrier that separated him from the entire gallery. He initially tried to plead “not guilty to the charges, but then tried to plead for insanity; though the jury decided to believe the prosecutor's claim that Dahmer was sane and completely aware of his actions and even chose to commit them. The jury found Dahmer to be guilty, but sane on all charges; he was sentenced to 15 life terms in prison for a total of 957 years. Dahmer later died in prison while doing a task with two other prisoners, one of which was Christopher Scarver, who had been diagnosed for schizophrenia and had been serving his time for murder; when the guards returned to find that Scarver crushed Dahmer’s skull and fatally assaulted the other prisoner with a metal bar taken from the weight

On July 22nd, 1991 Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the United States changed forever. Jeffrey Dahmer was arrested for killing and eating 17 young men [#1]. Jeffery’s confessions will make people understand why he is known as one of the most terrifying serial killers in the United States. What people don’t know is what made him turn into this great murder. What would come next.
The worst part about these evil acts was the conserving of a human body part so he could eat them later. Cannibalism is a morbid choice of food and Dahmer saw no evil or guilt in any of this. Since a majority of the victims were poor, people wouldn’t notice the dilemma that would happen throughout the
Anderson succumbed to his injuries days later. In 2015, Scarver spoke to the New York Post about his reasons for killing Dahmer. Scarver alleged that he was disturbed not only by Dahmer's crimes but by a habit Dahmer had developed of fashioning severed limbs from prison food to antagonize other inmates. After being taunted by Dahmer and Anderson during their work detail, Scarver said that he confronted Dahmer about his crimes before beating the two men to death. He also claimed that prison guards allowed the murders to happen by leaving them alone.
