This all changes when Satan confronts God about Job’s character. Satan believes that the only reason for Job’s actions are because God has prospered him. God allows Satan to test him and Job does remain faithful. God makes Job suffer by losing all material possessions, family as well as health. It is believed that God allowed Job to be punished because he knew that Job would remain faithful. God didn 't think much about what Satan said and he had faith that Job would not go against him. God achieved multiple things by testing Job. He ultimately revealed Job’s true character,

As for me, I had ceased to pray. I concurred with Job! I was not denying His existence, but I doubted His absolute justice. ”(45). In the book you see other Jews experience a similar loss of faith.
In general, humanity forgets the message from the book of Job and at moments curses God blaming him for all humanity 's disgraces. It is important to remember how God gave Satan approval to disturb Job by leaving him in his hands. Therefore, this provides evidence that God test 's humanity, but his hand is not involved in the process, as it is represented in (Job 1:12) “The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.”
To end the story a thunderstorm rolls in and Prometheus is left chained to the rock. The Book of Job is a story about a man who “feared God and turned away from evil” (Job 1:1, ESV). He was a very wealthy man who had ten children, many livestock, and many servants. Satan speaks to God one day and God gives him permission to test Job’s faith. Satan begins by taking away Job’s children, killing his livestock,
Farm life completely transforms in Chapter 19. It is no longer depicted as a way of living, but rather as a way of survival. Responsibilities. Some people run away from it while others miss the chance to take them. Such as in the book, Of Mice and Men. There is a part in the book where an old Swamper, Candy, has given in to killing his old dog, because his friend Carlson explains how the dog is so old that he hurts whenever he gets up and how he’s basically suffering. Although Carlson kills the dog for him, Candy later feels bad about not killing the dog himself.
Although George can be seen as caring to others he may be seen as controlling over what Lennie says and does. In chapter four, George goes off with the other farmhands to have fun and relax while he leaves Lennie alone back at the ranch. When Lennie goes off to pet his pup that Slim, one of the other farmhands, gave him, he sees someone else in the barn so he goes over and starts to talk with the stable buck, Candy.. When George found out what Lennie was talking about with a black guy, he scowled at Lennie and scolded him. " George scowled. "I though I tol ' you not to tell nobody about that."
Every book and story has one passage that is more important than all the others. In the book Of Mice and Men written by John Steinbeck, when George and Lennie’s dream is first told in chapter one about owning their own farm and tending the rabbits, that is the most important passage in the whole book. This passage is the most important because it develops a theme and establishes a pattern of events. In the story Of mice and men there is one passage whose importance is above all the others.
According to the novel, George and Lennie's farm, The dream farm is symbolic of American dream. The farm doesn't exist in reality but very real in their mind. Somebody to Lean on According to Sarah Carol of Boston University, during the Great Depression, the top 1% of Americans owned over 40% of the country's wealth, creating a huge disparity between the rich and the poor. Since the rich owned such a vast percentage of America’s total wealth, they possessed immense power. But unfortunately, as a result of this, about 60% of the country held extremely little influence or leverage. Many of these underprivileged families needed someone to provide them with the power and motivation required to stay hopeful. John Steinbeck portrays how some found the necessary motivation in their friends and family, whereas the Great Depression ruined others, who did not possess the necessary support.

In contrast, after he experienced living in a concentration camp he questioned God’s motives and no longer believed in absolute justice.
