John Dillinger
John Dillinger deserves to be on a postage stamp because he was a very notorious bank robber who used his money to provide for his family. John dillinger is the most successful bank robber in american history. He has escaped from every prison he has ever been placed in by the police. that is why he deserves his own commemorative stamp. during the great depression there were people who bowed down and suffered and then there were the people who took what they wanted at gunpoint and demanded that they had what was necessary. john dillingers was one of the most notorious “ gangster” in this time period. people called him a thug people called scum but everybody respected him. he wasnt one to bow down to anyone nobody could tame him or keep him from getting what he wanted.
John dillinger was born on june 28 or june 23 into a middle class family in oaks hill section in indianapolis.John dillinger's father was a very hard working man. he worked his entire life he was a very hardy man he didn't use words to discipline his children he beat them anytime they did something wrong. this could be one reason why john dillinger would never give up on something he wanted

on may 10 1933 he was paroled from prison he served 8 years of his sentence and almost immediately after he left prison he robbed a bank in bufflind ohio. on september 22 he was taken to lima prison during his frisk the guards for plans to escape from the prison four days later john and his crew had escaped from prison killing two guard by using shotguns and rifles smuggled into there sells. john and his young crew had a spree of several banks after the great escape. the stole fully automatic guns shotguns rifles and pistols and a very large bulk of ammunition and even bullet proof vests.on december 14 a young member of johns gang shot and killed a detective from

James “Jimmy” Riddle Hoffa, was a well-known individual and a fierce leader of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. Hoffa was President of the Teamsters from 1958 until 1971, and he was very passionate about the working man and their rights regarding fair wages, working conditions and benefits. Hoffa disappeared about four years after he was released from prison and his death still remained a mystery until 2004. His deep connection with the Mafia leads society to believe they had something to do with this disappearance, but nothing has ever been proved. Although Jimmy Hoffa is well known for some union corruption, his fellow union workers still supported him until the end.
In the 1930’s, Dillinger belonged to a group known as the Terror Gang. They were responsible for robbing twenty-four banks and four police stations. Ralph Alsman had no dealings with Dillinger, but had a resemblance to him that included a mole near one of his eyes, a scar on his left wrist and a cleft chin just like Dillinger. Both men lived within fifty-four miles of each other in Mooresville, Indiana.
John Dillinger is an amazing character who stole from the rich and gave to the poor. “”He was a modern day Robin Hood””(During the 1930’s). Johnny had a very restricted childhood. John's mother Molly Dillinger died at the age of 37; he was only 3 when she had a stroke that led to her death. Before her passing she had 2 sons and a daughter.

The trains were particularly attractive, often carrying large sums of gold and cash for banks, payrolls and governments, the railways were sitting targets. John Wayne Gacy is a convicted murderer accused of killing over thirty people. Gacy suffered from physical and mental abuse by his father throughout his childhood. Throughout his adulthood, he was known and liked by many people in the community in which he resided in. In the late 1960s however, Gacy was sentenced to ten years in jail after being found guilty of sexually assaulting two minors. In the later years of his sentence, Gacy was questioned about several other related cases.
On St. Patricks Day of 1942 John Wayne Gacy also known as the Killer Clown was born. His parents were John Gacy Sr. and Marion Gacy who were both Roman Catholic. As a young child John was physically and verbally abused by his father who was a well-known alcoholic. This had a major psychological effect on John. When he was six years old he stole a toy truck from a convenience store down the street.
“Kiss my Ass” was the last words to come out of John Wayne Gacy Jr.’s mouth before his execution in 1994. John Wayne Gacy also known as the “The Killer Clown” was a vicious serial killer in the early 1970s who killed thirty-three boys and young men. Through John Wayne Gacy’s life he struggled through a number of things from an abusive father, and struggling with his sexuality. John Wayne Gacy was born March 17, 1942 from John Wayne Gacy Sr. and Marion Elaine Robinson. He had a troubled relation with his father, who was an alcoholic and abusive to him calling him a “sissy.”
John Wayne Gacy- The Clown That Killed John Gacy was born on March 17, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Gacy and his siblings grew up with a drunken father who would beat the children with a razor strap if even perceived to have misbehaved; the man also physically assaulted his mother too. Growing up, Gacy was a quiet boy who was never really popular, but was liked by his teachers, co-workers and friends. But a heart failure stopped him from playing with other children.
He was shot by the FBI. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. When John was just three years old, his mother died of a stroke. His father, John Wilson Dillinger, was left to raise his son and daughter, Audrey until he got remarried in 1912. As a student, John’s grades were perfect.

The Great Depression left everyone in shambles. This was an economic crisis and period of low business activity in the U.S. Beginning with the stock-market crash in October, 1929. After watching Cinderella Man, we learned that this economic drop caused James J. Braddock, a famous boxer before the crash, to lose everything. Yet, later gave citizen hope that times would get better.
