I have always known Lady Macbeth to be ruthless, but I knew the moment I overheard her say, “O, never shall sun that morrow see!" (I.v.60-61). This was her reply to Macbeth when he said the king would be leaving tomorrow. Lady Macbeth wants to take over the presentations because this night will forever be life-changing. When Macbeth tries to go back on the plan to kill the King, Lady Macbeth pressured him into doing the deed and questioned his manhood. Macbeth was skeptical about getting caught and was the consequences of potentially failing. Lady Macbeth told him to not worry and to stay true to their commitment to murdering King Duncan. After murdering King Duncan, Lady Macbeth and Macbeth both smeared the blood of King Duncan on his chamberlains,
Macbeth in ‘Da Hood (Analysis of the Imagination of Macbeth) What is imagination? Imagination is the faculty or action of forming new ideas, or images or concepts of external objects not present to the senses. That's a mouthful, but it basically means to think outside the box. Whether or not the imagination’s box is big or small, that's how good it is. Macbeth’s imagination is very diverse and is full of crazy wild thoughts.
When fate is brought into question, one thing people often ponder upon is what is the point of no return? There were many times throughout Macbeth by Shakespeare that Macbeth had the opportunity to change his serendipity. If Macbeth would have swallowed his pride when he received the three prophecies from the three witches, what was destined for him could have immensely been altered. Macbeth’s first encounter with the witches in Act 1 Scene 3 was the moment at which his entire world took a turn for the worst. In this scene the witches appear with a clap of thunder and soon stumble upon Macbeth and Banquo.
Betrayal comes in many shapes and sizes. Everyone eventually gets betrayed even if it’s by family or friends maybe even a girlfriend or boyfriend. In my case it’s family. My dad to be exact. When you get betrayed it damages you.
Imagine living a life, but being unable to differentiate god actions from bad actions, just like that of 11th century Scotland in William Shakespeare’s world renowned, classic tragedy, the play, Macbeth. Through the course of the play, order is cast aside, chaos ensues and nobody can justify what thoughts and actions are fair and which are foul. For Macbeth, the king’s most brave and valiant warrior, his mind becomes clouded with greed and ambition, what he sees as fair is actually foul, he just doesn’t realize because the order of society has been discast. The inability for the characters to distinguish right from wrong, in addition to the social disorder “that takes the reason prisoner” (Shakespeare I.iii.88), are what lead to the
Initially, Lady Macbeth manipulates Macbeth by planning Duncan's murder and also telling him to stronger then who is. Lady Macbeth convinces Macbeth into killing Duncan. Lady Macbeth tells Macbeth that he is not a men, “And live a coward in thine own esteem / letting I dare, not wait upon I would / like the poor cat i’ th’ adage” (1.7.46-49). Lady Macbeth calls him a coward and a pussy cat. Afterwards, she is mocking him by saying, he is afraid to do what it takes.
After the rebellion war, Macbeth was given the title of “Thane of Cawdor” just by chance and not by his actions. Macbeth started getting ideas that maybe he could receive the title as king. In the 1st act of Macbeth, due to Macbeth’s desire to become king and Lady Macbeth’s urges, led him to kill Duncan. But Macbeth attempts to withstand these urges with his own reasons why he shouldn’t. Lady Macbeth is an external force for Macbeth’s final decision to kill Duncan.
Firstly, Macbeth wears the cloak of disillusionment, which makes him appear as if he is a subject to honor, but in reality he is a man only of dishonor. Macbeth, a cousin of the king, is quickly established as a general of great prowess, who has decorated himself with the glory of defeating the rebellion and repelling an invasion against Scotland. He is “brave Macbeth” (1.2.16), “valor's minion” (1.2.19), “Bellona's bridegroom” (1.2.54), “noble Macbeth” (1.2.67). Even Duncan, the king himself, exclaims, “O valiant cousin! Worthy gentleman!”
Lady Macbeth in the beginning of the play is manipulative, most of the times she manipulates her husband into doing either what she wants or what she thinks he should do. For example, when Macbeth does not want to kill Duncan anymore, Lady Macbeth convinces him by saying “from this time such I account thy love. Art thou afeared to be the same in thine own act and valor as thou art in desire? (I.vii line 38-41). Besides, the audience see Lady Macbeths is influencing her husband’s feelings by she is using her love as a weapon because she is saying do it
Furthermore, now that Lady Macbeth is aware of Macbeth’s possible promotion, she decides to take matters into her own hands and kill the king. As she begins to articulate a plan on how she and her husband will execute this murder, she foreshadows the eventual death of King Duncan. For example, after discovering that King Duncan will be visiting the Macbeth estate, Inverness, Lady Macbeth has decided to put her plan into action and kill the King that night. She exclaims to Macbeth, “O never/ Shall sun that morrow see!” (I.VI.
Tragic Hero’s for Wrong Reasons “Foul is fair, and fair is foul” (Shakespeare 24) this was quoted, in fact was, from the witches in the beginning scene of the play tragedy of Macbeth. The witches say this in response to and foreshadow of the situations that bring upon murder. Tragic hero’s are heard about as well leaders and brought pride to one’s country.

Hamartia is the fatal flaw of a tragic hero. Macbeth’s hamrita is being too ambitious. One if the time that Macbeth showed his ambition is when he killed Duncan. Macbeth killed Duncan because he wanted to be king, but before that, Duncan, the King of Scotland had just pronounced his son next in line for king. Macbeth says this to himself when he is preparing to kill Duncan.
Macbeth would not have killed King Duncan without Lady Macbeth. A quote to support this is “I am settled, and bend up/ each corporal agent to this terrible feat”(I.vii. 79-80). This quote supports the thesis statement because it shows that after Lady Macbeth explains her plan to Macbeth, and Macbeth can tell it won’t fail Macbeth will go on with Lady Macbeth's plan. That quote also tells the reader Lady Macbeth can be very persuasive.
Early on in the play Lady Macbeth was characterized as a ruthless person, but later on in the play the audience softens up on her because she reveals her weak side. Lady Macbeth was a ruthless person, and no one expected it because even today in society women are not associated with evil characteristics, she demonstrates this when she continuously insults her husband. For example, when Macbeth changes his mind about killing Duncan, Lady Macbeth scolds him, and insults his masculinity and persuades him by saying that he owes it to her to kill Duncan. She uses this tactic of persuasion, by targeting Macbeths insecurities; this is very ruthless because Lady Macbeth shows becoming royalty over her husband’s dignity. With this in mind, usually relationships
