Macbeth was a good and loyal warrior for king Duncan but after he heard the witches predictions, it changed the person inside him. This play is from one of the best writer of all time William Shakespeare. The play is “The Tragedy of Macbeth".It's a summary about how Macbeth became king in the eleventh century and after he took the throne. At the end of the play Macbeth ambition was too big and it made him went to the wrong path which led to his death. First reason, Macbeth was thinking about murdering the king and it’s not a good choice. Then he finally did his unforgivable move which is kill the king when the king was visiting his castle. He couldn’t control himself because his ambition was getting too big and it swallow him. A quote in the play said ”Thou marshall'st me the way that I was going; And such an instrument I was to use.”(2.1.42-43) The bad thing about killing king Duncan was the prediction said he will be king in the future but he couldn’t wait so he killed the king. In the critic the author also mention of Macbeth was imagine killing king Duncan “A terrible image of temptation employing the very instrument of murder lures him on”(Snider). Macbeth was the Thane of Cawdor but he wanted to be king more than anything. The witches had told him that he would one day be king but he did not know how long that would take so when King Duncan had been invited to stay the night at his house he exclaimed that “My thought, whose murder yet is but fantastical,/ shakes so my single state of man/ that function is smother 'd in surmise,/ and nothing is but what is not”(1.3.52-55). He felt that if he were to kill King Duncan that he would have a better chance of becoming king. Though the witches had never told him that someone would need to get murdered for him to become king, his ambition tempted him to quicken this process the only way he felt he could. There are many arguments about whose ambition led to all the murders and events in the play. The actions and words of Lady Macbeth could have led to the encouragement of Macbeth, which made him act upon his feelings, which ultimately led the murders and everything else that had happened around those events. The words of the witches could have also driven him to act upon everything.
Macbeth uses violence to get his way and only gets worse with his kingship. After he had killed Duncan he said “I have done the deed” (II.ii.16). The quote confirms that he in fact did kill Duncan. It was after this deed when his mentality and act for violence got worse. To keep his position as king he needed to kill banquo and also said “To be thus.. safely thus” (III.i.47-48).
Macbeth is faced with three internal struggles, considering killing the King, weighing the advantages and disadvantages, and the aftermath of killing the King. The reader first sees Macbeth have an internal struggle when he’s thinking about murdering King Duncan. "If chance will have me king, why, chance may crown me, without my stir." (I, iii, 143-144) When he says this he’s showing guilt over the immorality of his intentions. He thinks if he has the chance why should he pass it by, he wants to take advantage of his situation.

From hearing a prophecy to committing murder, Macbeth develops a different character throughout the play. That could say MacBeth let a few words from the ‘witches’ puppet him. He was not the only one who was controlled; Lady Macbeth let Duncan’s death take over her, and drive her to insanity. To losing sleep, and going crazy, Lady Macbeth let her guilt eat her alive little by little. This means some stay the same throughout the entire play, some completely change and some die before they have a chance to change.
