My quality world entails several aspects of what I dream of. College being the first step into the real world is a crucial necessity for my success. In order to have a successful life in my book, I need to acquire the education I want for my careers. It’s important that I learn study skills in college that I will use in real life, such as: organization, time management, networking, asking the right questions and empathy.
Time management allows me to use my time effectively or productively, whether I’m at work, home, or school. I won’t be stressed out multi-tasking between my agendas, as long as I keep the day planned on a planner marking my tasks in order accordingly.
Networking is the best way to get connected to people. Staying connected will help me tremendously, by getting help

Moving into the real world (workforce) I will feel these same emotions once again during stressful and busy times, and people will need my empathy. Knowing this I will be able to be empathetic toward situations at hand, allowing myself and my peers to collaborate in a more operative manner.
What really drives me to “my quality world” and a “life of success” are the multiple careers I dream of. Computer network engineering, audio engineering, ministering the gospel, and photography. I strive to make audio engineering and photography my hobbies, and keep Computer network engineering as my main goal when I’m done with college, with that being one of my goals I will be able to have a steady income and provide for myself. As life goes on I will be ministering the gospel, and set a long term goal to pastor over a church one day.
As I dream of my life of success, I would also like to have a partner who is well spoken, smart, funny, good at math, and dreams big. I want her to support me and my decisions as well as I will do for
In Excellent Sheep, William Deresiewicz argues how college does not just provide education. He continues by informing us that life is more important than a job; jobs are more than a paycheck; and a country more than its wealth. Deresiewicz also argues that even being a quadruple major does not make a student interesting, but looking inside themselves and finding out and doing what actually interests them makes them interesting. In doing so, he suggests how the college prepares the student to be an active student who can handle different situations from the experiences he/she will experience .
He believes that a college education is extremely valuable. “Yes. 100%. Absolutely. I wouldn’t be able to compete in the modern world without one,” he remarked affirmatively. But being as he has only been through two years of college he has not had a life-changing moment yet.
In a world filled with so much anxiety and distrust either socially or politically it 's so important to take a step back and appreciate where we are and how we got to the places we are now. We are all here for one purpose and that 's to make meaningful connections s with others and help each other along the way. I may not know where I 'll be within the next five years or if I 'll have made it in the industry. But right now I do know that younger me would have just been thankful to experience the waves crashing against
In his article, “Are Too Many People Going to College?” Charles Murray argues that too many people are going to college universities when they should be focusing on other lifestyle options. In his opinion, whether or not to attend college is a personal decision that should be thoroughly thought through. When weighed with the unrealistic prerequisites, the financial expenses, and the time needed to obtain a degree, many people will find that attending college will not be beneficial to them. Speaking of this Murray attests, “The question here is not whether the traditional four-year residential college is fun or valuable as a place to grow up, but when it makes sense as a place to learn how to make a living.
College may be the best and most important time of my life. I get the opportunity to make new friends, try new things, and to begin learning about things that I’m truly interested in. I’m slightly unsure of the exact direction I want to take with my life, but as proved in Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson, as long as I choose to follow my passion I will end up doing the right thing in life. Whilst Bryan Stevenson has the profound passion of justice and mercy, my passion is very different. My passion in life is to provide dogs with better eye care.
As a college student who is currently spending thousands of dollars to further my education and achieve a career goal, it was, at first, disheartening to read Caroline Bird ’s essay “College is a Waste of Time and Money”. However, after thoroughly examining her points, I now see that her essay is illogical. In her piece “College is a Waste of Time and Money”, Caroline Bird argues against the idea that “college is the best place for all high-school graduates” (1); in other words, college isn’t for everyone. Throughout her writing, Bird supplies her readers with evidence that explains how, for some individuals, college is a waste of not only time and money, but of intellectual effort, as well.
Time management has been one of the most substantial hurdles of my scholastic and professional career. Many of us waste our time on things that are neither important nor necessary, instead of using that time for something of that is meaningful. To capitalize on the use of time management strategies and reach my Doctoral Business Administration (DBA) program goals. I will execute two specific time management strategies, for example, accessing and planning a weekly schedule while adjusting my daily schedule. Time management will help me maximize the use of my time and reach my ultimate DBA goals of completing each assignment.
It is easy to think college is not worth the cost to become better, but getting educated makes people better, and happier in the future and sometimes even in better health (Leonhardt 25 ). Becoming a better and happier person is good for everyone. Even former President Obama says “‘Education helps us be better people. It helps us be better citizens. You came to college to learn about the world and to engage with new ideas and to discover the things you 're passionate about -- and maybe have a little fun’”
One of the hardest fought for attributes of a brand is knowing that customers consider that the brand has value. We learned in our lesson that perceived value is a key attribute towards selling a brand. Writing a value proposition and keeping it current could help these business leaders to determine and clarify the unique characteristics their business will need to identify to better market their brand. In this paper, I desire to convey what a value proposition is and how it can help leaders chart a successful course through changing times.

Time management in the military Eddie White DI Page Time management in the military Time management is very important as any organization or individual who want to achieve his/her goals must strictly observe time. Time management requires someone to prioritize some tasks in some way; one should label some tasks as more imp01iant than others. The key factor in effective time management is usually accuracy because when you have accurate model of reality you are in a position to determine which task is more important than other. You can only realize the real gains in time management at the top but not at the bottom. Inaccurate understanding of reality can make your missions, goals and your projects to be meaningless
Employers are looking to hire graduates who can demonstrate non-cognitive skills such as integrity, communication, courtesy, responsibility, interpersonal skills, positive attitude, professionalism, flexibility, teamwork and work ethic (Robles, 2012). Studies have found that company executives want employees with the proper technical skills for the job, but also value strong communication skills, teamwork skills, leadership skills, problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and presentation skills (Kretovics & McCambridge, 1998). Even college graduates believe that they require strong interpersonal abilities, teamwork skills, and work ethic to land a job (Velasco, 2012). Despite this understanding of desired skills, employers report that they are unable to find enough workers with the complete skillset they desire (Carnevale, Smith, & Strohl, 2013; Ellis, Kisling, & Hackworth, 2014). George Mason University, much like colleges across the United States, must find a way to both offer students programming to develop these skills but then understand how the programming assists in the development of these necessary skills.
Multitasking is a way I survive and to be honest as possible I am a Master of multitasking. Multitasking is doing multiple things all at one time and to deal with more than one task at the same time. I am a Hard Core Multitasker that is not too bad I know Pro’s.

The two important values that I have learnt are the independence and the respect. I learnt these two values since my childhood. One of the values is the independence. Independence means that you can support yourself without owning or depending on yourself concerned with livelihood or studying. You can make decision of your life without being controlled by the others.
