Each of our lives are different, our perspectives depend on who we are as individuals. It is kind of crazy to know that besides having different DNA’s our choices are different, even siblings have different choices. The society, in which we live in, is composed of many cultures, and even though we are exposed to all of them, we still make our vendettas. That is what makes a human being interesting, being different. What am I doing with my life? As children we are never asked these types of questions maybe, because we have no idea on how to answer it, but as time passes by we learn the answer. This world needs more compassion, love, help, and smiles. And I believe Nursing is a career that has to be about helping others, and doing it nicely. I have been a fulltime student since I started college, I have passed all my classes, and I will be applying to nursing school in January, and if I get accepted in the program I will be starting school in the fall in Texas. Am also working; it is my first time since I started college. I work with a company that gives care services to Autistic children. I am in charge of a 3 year old and an 11 year old, I enjoy the time I spend with them. Children are one of the reasons I chose Nursing. The 3 year old boy is my therapy, he cannot speak, and so we have connected through toys and watching his two favorite movies, but mostly he allows me to be mindful.
