Bella After almost a year since losing our Chihuahua Precious and our Rottweiler Gracie, my parents surprisingly decided to look into getting a new puppy. My mom researched and wanted to get a Boxer and my dad wanted to get a German shorthaired pointer. My mom looked and looked on Craigslist for both. The only one’s she could finder were Boxers. My mom found a brindle girl boxer in Denver and was ready to drive there to get her. This was my sister’s birthday and we were going to surprise her by getting her a puppy. As we were getting into the vehicle to go, the lady texts her and told her she just sold her to someone else. My mom was very irritated. But, she kept looking that weekend. It was Monday, April 21, 2015, I was in soccer practice and when my family came to pick me up, I was told that we were going to get a puppy. This surprised me because first, I did not have any change of clothes, and second because it is not like my parents to do something on the spur of the moment. When we started driving, my mom told us she found a reverse brindle which looks black but is very dark brown. And this puppy is the last one. This house was very rundown and in my opinion creepy. My parents told my sister, brother and me to stay in the vehicle because they were not sure of the surroundings and the people that were in the front yard did not look appropriate. My parents walked up to the house and asked to see the puppy. The guy went in and brought out a chubby puppy. He handed the puppy to my dad and my dad took one look and knew he would keep her. He handed her to my mom and my mom felt the same way. The guy asked if they wanted to see the parents and my dad said, “No, we will take her.” He handed the guy the money and walked
