This week is going to be so much fun I thought to myself. Weeks had passed since my parents had said we would go to the beach and then finally today was the day. I felt so excited and thrilled for this upcoming event. Everyone was getting ready, going crazy, running up the stairs, taking stuff to the car, getting drinks, and using the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms before we left. Also, to get our toothbrushes, towels, lotion, shampoo, and toothpaste. Getting bathing suits, floaties for the babies, sunscreen, and snorkeling gear.
When we were all ready my parents gave my siblings and I another surprising announcement. They told us we could call a friend we would like to invite to come with us. I was so happy they would let us take a friend. I asked if I could bring along two friends. They seemed a little concerned but said yes.
I quickly got my phone out of my pocket and I called my best friend who said yes. Then, I called another friend and he also said yes.
We went to pick up my sister’s and brother’s friends first, then we drove to my friend’s house. She was waiting outside and there beside her was my other friend who was coming along. I waved hi to them and opened the door so they could get their luggage in. It was already past midnight when we got to Miami. Even though it was really dark we

It made me feel sad that we couldn’t stay any longer but it was amazing to have experienced all the fun with my favorite friends and family all together. The ride back was noisy with all the funny things that had happened to us and all the things we were taking back home as memories of our week. It took us longer to get home because there was a lot of traffic, but we made it. Everyone was asleep and once in a while my dad would make my mom drive because he was tired. Having spent my week close to the beach was something phenomenal, mostly if it’s with special
Off to Tahoe One day when I was visiting Tahoe my mom called a family meeting and she said we were all as a family going to move to Incline Village. I started crying on the inside but on the outside I was showing much exitement. I felt really sad but I didn’t want to disappoint my mom so I never told her.
Besides, I was going to a beach for a week, it's basically a vacation, right? After ending up at my destination, i quickly learned I would really be doing some work. I was assigned to work at a homeless shelter from 8 am until around 3 pm. When we got to the destination, I learned my group would be putting together new beds that were going into the new building that would allow 700+ homeless men stay. We also sorting clothing that would soon be given to the many men, women, and children.
A thrill for the speed From the time auto mobiles were created, someone has had the idea to race them. Some people race illegally and some race on a regulated track. A new track has brought itself to light in New Orleans. Not very popular with common conversation but to a “gear head” like my step farther. My step father, Mr. Russ, came across this track shortly after it was finished being built.
It was a hectic day. My friend had to call and have his grandparents pick him up which took about 45 minutes because they lived kind of far away. During that time, my dad told me “pack your bags, we need to go visit your grandmother” I remember that I didn’t pack much because I couldn’t think. My mom immediately booked us plane tickets to Portland. It was super close but we made the flight.
It was finally the day I got to see my mom after two whole months. She moved to Florida to find a house down there so I could move down with her. For two months it was basically misery. I have never been two weeks without her, let alone 2 months. I was heartbroken and she was too.
It was a windy Saturday evening, and the sun was close to setting. My family and I had been on Galveston Island for about 20 minutes. When we made it to the hotel, we told that is would be another 45 minutes until our room was ready. Because of this we took a walk on a pier that was across the street. The pier extended out over the water and ended with a spot for fishing.
I think that about all five of us were set on unpacking and hitting the pearly white sand and crystal clear water. That was all that happened then. The sixth hour was boring because everyone was just ready to get out of the car. The good thing though is that we could smell the beaches. That meant one thing.
Do you ever stop and think about what the other person is feeling after an argument or when you tell them something life changing? My parents definitely didn't know what was going on in my mind. I was shocked when I heard my parents say that we were moving from Michigan; my home town, the state I was raised in and have great memories from to California, a strange and unknown place populated with strange people. I felt as if my little world had turned upside down and I would be the one to deal with it. The people responsible for this move would be my parents and my older brother.
When we made it to Florida we stayed with my grandparents in a house they were renting for a week. This was a very big house with three floors and a pool in the
After unpacking, I took my brothers to swim at the pool. After swimming my family and I went out to dinner and decided to do some shopping in Downtown Disney. In The Dinosaur Cafe they have a Build-a-Bear. There we made dinosaurs and bought clothes for them. We shopped in lots of stores.
After we packed up all our stuff my dad said” Everyone go to bed, so we can wake up fresh in the morning and get the trip started”. So, we all went to bed. I can barely sleep thinking about all the fun were going to have. After about 15 minutes everyone was sound asleep and so was I.
It’s difficult to pinpoint a specific moment in one’s life in which your life is transformed. We often realize that this moment is so signingagent when looking back on personal experiences and don’t realize it at the time. For me, this moment occurred when I realized that I had taken what I love most for granted. It all started back in 2004 when my family suggested that I get into a sport at a young age.
My friends and I put down our towels to go swim. Sydney, my friend, and I went into the water first. We felt the waves tugging at

A memorable day I my life is when I first found out I was a diabetic. I was scared and didn’t really understand what was happening. I was too sick, and for the most part out of my mind. But, what I do remember is a lot of pain and a few visitors. It wasn’t the best day and I don’t remember every detail.
