Since my admission into grade school, I have always set myself a standard to which I strive to adhere to. Whenever I set a goal, I work diligently until I accomplish it. This standard now applies to my current short and long-term goals.
I’ve had numerous short-term goals that have affected my personal life. However, my most recent goal of this caliber deals with my health. During my early years of high school, I never made sensible diet decisions. My daily snack consisted of a bag of Hot Funyuns, a Dr. Pepper, and a bag of the generic brand beef jerky. I realized that I couldn’t keep living this way for the rest of my life, so I made it my mission to better my health and acquire a physique of which I could be proud. I chose to revamp my entire

Presently, my short-term goal is that I would like to once again attend UIL State in my academic event of Number Sense. Every school day from 7:00 to 8:00 and then from 3:00 to 5:00, I would practice number sense with my gritty coach. Memorizing my squares and cubes up to 35, and memorizing factoring formulas seemed tedious and mundane work when I was 14. But, as I continued to practice, my scores steadily increased to the point where attending UIL State a second time could be a reality for me. Overall, my knowledge in the subject of mathematics increased exponentially.
My oldest and my most difficult goal to achieve has to be my desire of one day becoming a pediatrician. I want to make sure that every child has the opportunity to live on this Earth as happily as possible, so helping them treat what ails them seemed like the perfect way to achieve this. Ever since this thought crossed my mind, I have been whole-heartedly dedicated to my education. I’ve studied countless hours, taken numerous college level courses, involved myself with extracurricular activities, and maintained a 4.0 GPA all with my future goal serving as the fuel that ignites every act I perform in high
Hello again, I am so sorry I’ve emailed you so many times but I would really really like to meet one on one with Gerardo. My initial meeting that was scheduled for February 14th, I had to cancel due to being very sick and not wanting to spread it to him or his family. Are there any open slots? God bless, Rachal Adent
I have been doing some thinking about our conversation a few days ago and have concluded that I will take you up on the offer! I just sold my old bike and now have some money left over that I can use to pay for those seminars. I am going to see how soon I can get this done, I am going to look at the dates and send my form in. I will keep you posted on the status of things as they get processed.
In the book Of Beetles and Angels, by Mawi Asgedom, a sudanese refugee family immigrates to America, seeking new life. The value of reading Of Beetles and Angels is that it shows that you can become something from nothing in the hardest situations. It shows the value of setting goals, working hard, and being kind to others. In OBAA, Mawi shows the value of setting goals and persisting to get them.
Back to Claremont He turned to me, questioning whether I want to raise it or not. The only reply he received-frankly the only reply he would ever need-was my bid number slightly raised in the air and my head slightly nodding in approval. “Two now two now two now two,” an unruly cry tore through his lips, shaking the entire crowd. My actions were kept repetitive and my eye never left the opposing bidder, a collector from out of town.
In third grade, I was assigned to create a project illustrating what I wanted to be when I grew up. At this time, due to my positive experiences with doctors and my desire to help others, especially children, I decided to describe the role of a pediatrician as my future career. Throughout my childhood, whenever asked about my future aspirations, I confidently declared that I would attend medical school and become a pediatrician. However, as I developed, the answer to this question slowly began to evolve as I gained a deeper understanding of my values and the people I desired to serve through medicine.
Pursuing a career in medicine will enable me to directly impact the lives of individuals and communities, particularly those who face barriers to quality healthcare. In addition to that, going to college/university allows an individual to go through a transformative journey and shape them into knowledgeable and compassionate leaders of society. Higher education would also equip me with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in an increasingly competitive world. It would empower me to become an advocate for change, challenge stereotypes, and become a role model for those similar in my shoes. However, by pursuing a college education, the one promise I made to myself was to make my family proud and support them along the way.
These goals define who I am as well as define my future. And I am so grateful to reside in a nation that gives me the opportunity to pursue it. The ability to be a doctor is a blessing within itself and one I am excited and determined to achieve wholeheartedly. I hope to change lives one day. I cannot wait for what my life has in store for me.
Lani: I was helping for someone’s project for COMM 245; I was in the video lab, in the studio. I was on campus and decided to contact everyone I knew who comes to the school. I remember I sent out a snap saying guys I think there is a shooting, be careful and then I started sending out individual texts to people making sure they were okay, like hey are you good? Stay out of an area.
National Junior Honor Society is the start of everything. This group helps set me up for my years to come. Being in the NJHS it helps me get into the one in high school, which looks really good one college applications. Having national junior honor society for both middle school and high school would give me a better chance to get into a college I really want to get into. I’ve always wanted to be someone who could help or make a change in this world, instead of just trying to get through life easy.
My Education goals are why I chose APUS, When I graduated from high school in 2014 I started my ROP Dental Assisting program to become a Certified Dental assistant in the state of California so that I could get my foot in the door in Dentistry to one day become a Dental Hygienist. But now here I am two years later working as a full time dental assistant and I have no passion or desire in pursuing in becoming a Hygienist because its not something I feel I could really be happy with and do for the rest of my life. My real passion has always been with children I have always loved working with children weather it was when I was working at a daycare in high school or when I was a cheerleading coach for young girls between the ages of 4-9, I have
Goal Number One I didn’t know it yet, but the way I viewed the game of lacrosse was about to change drastically. It was a normal day for me. I was in eighth grade, and I was getting ready for school.
Considering your lifetime goals, discuss how your current and future academic and extracurricular activities might help you achieve your goal. You all may know me as Alexis Lewis the young lady that attends Carver Magnet High School, but ten years from now I will be known as the women who made a change in this world. Right now I am working through the stepping stones of becoming that person by being involved in many different programs, such as sports medicine, the Rodeo Committee, and being an assistant teacher. My journey as a Sports Medicine Trainer started when I was in the tenth grade.
Personal Statement Describe several personal and professional goals you would like to achieve in the next five years, including why these goals are important to you. Goals are what keep us motivated to keep going and doing better than the day before. It is our goals that help us to keep pushing forward and be the best version of ourselves everyday. I have many professional and personal goals for myself.
A sense of accomplishment is invaluable to a person. Not only does a sense of accomplishment build confidence and faith in oneself, but it also allows one to reflect on how wonderful the journey to the accomplishment was, and how every little struggle and triumph was worth it. In the middle of summer, where time seems endless and the stress of the previous school year has been shed by students, I never expected to find out that I scored a five on both of the advanced placement exams I took. Nor did I have one-hundred percent confidence the goals we set as section leaders of the marching band would actually be met. Yet to my surprise, I had the good fortune of accomplishing challenging things in both aspects of my life.
When I graduate high school, I plan on having future goals that I plan on achieving. My first goal is to go to college and get a degree. I plan on attending Purdue NorthWest majoring in engineering and minoring in business. This is my number one future goal that I need to accomplish because to be able to have a nice life, I need to go to college to support my future family. My next future goal would be get a starting job to be able to support my future family.
