On December, my friend calls me to go with her to Boston. At that time, I don’t want to go because it was very cold. Also she doesn’t had friend to go with her. She said it will be fun when we get there. We will be going to see a lot of beautiful place and take picture. She said we will go see the light on the street at night. Also we will go to a big restaurant at Boston. They have a lot of food that taste good. When I going there, there was a lot of traffic on the way. We’re sitting in car like three hours. We have to go to the parking and it was so far from downtown. It was long way to get there. When we get at parking we have to walking by our self. It was really cold. We’re going to watch movies. We’re going to eat at restaurants. When
In summary, on 09/21/15 at 0418 hours I was patrolling the area of 1600 S. Laramie Ave., at which time I observed a male subject with a youthful appearance walking northbound 16th Street. I made contact with the subject, at which time he identified himself as (Rosas, Alexis DOB 04/21/97). While speaking with Rosas, I detected a strong odor of fresh cannabis emanating from his person. Rosas related he had some cannabis in his sweater pocket. I recovered a silver box containing a green leafy substance from Rosas ' right sweater pocket.
We are going to watch the U.S. women’s soccer team! Next, we’ve driven for about 30 minutes and we get to the jumbo stadium. We rush in and see the girls practicing. We get popcorn and sit down.
“We’re going where? For how long? But why?” I said. It was the summer before seventh grade when my mom told me that we would be going a trip.
Finally, we arrived at the restaurant. I had reservations so we were seated right away. I could not control my nervousness and Hannah could definitely tell that something was going on. I thought about the perfect time to ask her and finally decided it was better to do this sooner rather than later. I left the table and approached our waiter and told him that I was going to propose and was wondering if he could bring out some champagne or something.
Maybe when I get off work tomorrow we can go out somewhere. If that is cool with you”. She makes herself
Last night I went to Nathan Philips Square at City Hall in Toronto. It were a beautiful summer evening. It was warm and sunny. Lost of people were there because of the Pan Am games celebrations. I stood and watched the crowd.
It was a good experience after all; discovering a new place was not that bad. At first, we decided to go to West Philadelphia, but Mona suggested that Fish Town is a good place to be assigned. Honestly, we did not say no, as she is from here and of course she knows better than us. So we went there and explored the place together, and walked into the hidden places that Mona was taking about. What is so amazing about Fish Town that the place is so diverse and at the same time the people are a mixture of friendly and unfriendly kind of people.
Hi everyone! It 's Ericka. This upcoming spring I have the opportunity to finish my middle school years with a over night 8th grade field trip to Boston. This field trip is to be a lot of fun and lasts a few days, but it 's going to be a bit costly. My school is trying to run a fund raiser to help pay some of the expenses for this trip.
Only after five minutes of being there we quickly made the decision that this is not where we will be staying. We walked back through the heat looking for a different hotel, and we found one. One that looked clean and inviting. After taking long well needed naps, we all woke up and had to face the situation of how we were going to get home. My sister and I spent most of our time outside in the pool, as we tried to make something good of this terrible trip.
As my family and I approach the entrance to Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia we were all filled with excitement and anticipation of a great weekend. The local hotel we stayed at was just down the road and provided an exquisite lodging experience we seldom find elsewhere as we travel. Roaming the grounds of Colonial Williamsburg, we stopped and listened to a woman in character explain here day to day responsibilities of taking care of the household while her husband was out in the field harvesting crops. Another actor was explaining his day to day life as a blacksmith forging swords for the local regimens. The employees that are on staff facilitating presentations at various stations around the compound, maintain the character for the period of the historical person they are portraying with remarkable acting.
Our date winds up in the most delightful way possible: the “down home” way. Strolling hand in hand through the fairground, we play games, trying to knock over milk bottles with balls and then climb a wobbly rope ladder to the top to win a huge lime green stuffed dog, but we can’t win a thing. Little children buzz around us like fireflies with clouds of cotton candy in their fists and bags of popcorn as big as they are. Eventually the sun sinks and the lights come on, and as the air cools, the fair sparkles like a mini-Manhattan. As we wander our wonderland, we share a funnel cake, hot and sweet.
On a dark and cold December morning, my family departed our house at precisely 6:17 AM for the 52 mile drive to JFK Airport. I was 11 years old, and was about to leave for a much anticipated trip to Puerto Rico over winter break. Little did I know that I would have a transforming experience before even landing on the island. As we waited in line for security, I found myself staring at the flight status monitor, memorizing all of the flights and their departure gates. Some kind of special connection was made with that hypnotic flight information screen!
The second day we were there we woke up and went and had breakfast after we ate we found some brochures for things to do and I was really wanting to go to the beach so I looked up Alki beach and we went there we saw a starbucks while trying to park so we went in there and got some drinks.
New York is a very popular city that everyone is familiar with when they heard of the names of Statue of Liberty, Time Square, and the Broadway, but this place to me is not only just an ordinary city; it is a home that I most feel safe and protected. It has a very special meaning in my life since it was the first home that my family and I resided when we came to America ten years ago. New York was filled with such wonderful memories such as when we tried to adapt to a new life, culture, new people, and foods and learn how to speak English. It is place of comfort that I feel most at ease and relaxed. Although we only stayed in Queens for half a year when I was still seven, it has always been a place where I consider special and unforgettable.
