While living off campus, you receive a bill at the beginning of each month for rent. “Having rent due each month builds more responsibility in money management,” Chris told me. Chris further explained how he has learned how to balance his spending better because of having this fixed rent payment which he thinks will be a helpful skill to carry on past school. When living in the dorms, you’re able to bursar everything, spend meal plan and not see your payment for living for an entire year.

I have heard from my aunt and uncle (and I cannot forget to mention from the Princeton Review's of Best Campus Food) that the food on the university grounds is amazing, which is great to hear because I am what people would call a “foodie”. So food would be near the top of the top five reasons of why I would love to go to Virginia Tech, but, of course, the engineering program would be the real reason why I am applying. I have an interest in mechanical and aerospace engineering, and I know Tech is the way to go for a killer engineering program in my home state. Although Tech is in Virginia, it is also far enough from home so I can feel free from my parent’s grip of control.
The very last reason I want to be a Hokie, is the quality of education. This is the most helpful when it comes to my personal goals, Virginia Tech would be very helpful in giving me the proper tools needed to achieve my personal goals and

Going to college is not easy, either financially or having the knowledge and strength are obstacles that prevent many from attending college. I know that having the knowledge and strength is all inside of me and just needs to spread. The financial part of going to college is what oneself has to look for. Finding with what to pay my education would have to be scholarships. Having the strength, knowledge and having a good financial help me in getting a bachelor's degree in nursing.
Student Loans Make Students Moan The United States has always been portrayed as the land of opportunity and prosperity. Yet in the United States, it is almost impossible in the 21st century to receive a reliable job, paying a reliable wage, without a degree of some magnitude which most people are unable to afford. Education is a very valuable resource some people squander away through the participation in obscure, regrettable college activities that leave them in massive amounts of college debt later on in life. This is one of the reasons why as of 2014, the United States was ranked the 6th most indebted nations in the world (World).
Did you know that 66% of students don’t do to college because they can’t afford it? The number of students enrolled in colleges and universities this year is 1.7 percent lower than last year. Most students that don’t go to college is because they don’t have the money for it or else they have another good paying job that doesn’t require a college education. People don’t have to go to college to become successful. Most students don’t go to college because they don’t do well in high school, so they think college will even harder.

Purposes for a college education could be listed endlessly, and of course, they do not apply to everyone. I personally have many expectations for my college career.
