We as a human being understand the destruction landmines can cause to the lives of those who were impacted by. The landmines just don’t disappear after the war like soldiers going home after battle. Even though the war ended the mines that haven’t been activated will still be deadly and will still hurt those who are innocent. There are lots of stories from elders about landmines that they have seen in their lives that are not in the media. Landmines have taken many lives of those who do not deserve it to be taken, innocent lives and future lives can be saved if landmines are banned. Landmines have been around since the 13th century when the Chinese dynasty was fighting the Mongols. Landmines have been around forever and it’s still being used until today. It’s true that mines are a good weapon when it comes to self-defense and ambushing the opposer but that’s only good if the mines hit the target it's aiming for. If the landmines that have been planted under a pile of dirt does not hit the opposer there’s a big chance of hurting or killing civilians that have nothing to do with this issue. Landmines have done no good to anyone except harming anyone in its way. Out in our world today there are millions of mines buried across hundreds of miles in war zones that haven't been discovered yet. In the article of …show more content…

People that live in different country or area that are landmine free would probably say ask the question “why couldn't they moved to a better place.” What those people do not understand is that people that are living in those kinds of places live there because it’s the place where their parents were born/rise, it’s a place where they were raised too, and it’s probably the only place they know. In the twentieth century, the United States dropped two atomic bombs, which were the most powerful weapons at that time, on Japan. It happened on August 6 and August 9, 1945. The atomic bombs killed 226,000 Japanese and ended the war. However, America should not have dropped the atomic bombs for two reasons. First, it was not necessary to drop the bomb to win the war militarily or to get the Japanese to surrender.

The right to bear arms has been a controversial issue ever since James Madison established it as the second amendment of the constitution. The second amendment states, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed” (US Const. amend. II). Those in favor of the second amendment, believe that arms are used for protection, dangerous situations, and sports.
Metal Detectors for Schools School safety is always a major concern that is an important aspect for the adults and students. In history, various situations such as the Columbine shooting have raised concerns involving weapons on campuses that result in injuries or even death. A solution that some have implemented is the addition of metal detectors. However, schools should not install metal detectors because they require money and supervision, can be avoided to allow weapon entry, and alter the feel of a school environment negatively for the students.

Since then, almost 4,000 people have been able to scale the mountain, but over 230 people have not been able to climb it successfully. There is a chance of accident or death when climbing this mountain or any dangerous activity. All people should should have the right to rescue services even if they knowingly put themselves at risk because there is always a chance of an accident happening, rangers are there to save people in danger, and there are rescue vehicles being produced to be used in case of an emergency.
Gun Control: Assault Weapons Should be Banned in America In the past decade there have been many mass shootings which sparked a nationwide debate on the ban on assault weapons. Assault weapons are Semiautomatic weapons that are usually used in the military due to their advanced features. The difference between a Semiautomatic weapon and a regular pistol is that semiautomatic guns reload automatically and can fire consistently (Assault Weapons). Majority of Americans argue that Assault Weapons should be banned nationwide because of the amount of mass shootings caused by Assault weapons.
Even Senator of California Dianne Feinstein, one of the many senators who wanted a ban on assault weapons said that “The 1994 Assault Weapons Ban was effective at reducing crime and getting these military-style weapons off our streets,” (Assault Weapons). If the government once banned assault weapons and only good effects came, the government should do the ban
Gun Control Gun control over the years has been a controversial subject, with people arguing for both sides. The 2nd amendment states that everyone in the U.S. has a right to bear arms. Mass shootings and suicides by firearm have been a growing concern for many people living in the U.S. Numerous people making the argument that there should be more gun control. Having gun control would help lessen the deaths by firearms in the country for a variety of reasons.
On, February 14, 2018, a mass school shooting in Florida got the nation’s attention, however, gun violence has always been an issue, and it is only getting worse. Now people are saying there needs to be something done, and there are many that agree. Starting off there should be stricter gun laws, because in today’s world it is too easy to get handguns and assault rifles. With, the capabilities a firearm holds, such as taking people’s lives there must be stricter restrictions that could help cut down the gun violence and save lives. Increasing the age of purchasing a firearm would be one step.
United States Senator Dianne Feinstein has proposed a bill that would ban assault weapons. This bill would prevent “horrific mass shooting incidents” and ban the purchase of “military-style assault weapons”. This is very effective because that way, the shooters who usually use assault weapons won’t have as large of a magazine, making them easier to stop. This shows that while we cannot entirely ban any weapons, one of the most effective things that can be done is to ban these weapons that shooters can get their hands on so easily. This ban on assault weapons and semi-auto weapons as well is largely supported by the public, and public support usually leads to the passing of laws.
“Nuclear power will help provide the electricity that our growing economy needs without increasing emissions. This is truly an environmentally responsible source of energy.” Michael Burgess Prior to the introduction of nuclear energy, fossil fuel was thought to be the only available source in producing energy. Although fossil fuel, such as coal, petroleum, and natural gas, contains high energy value, it produces too many harmful byproducts that ultimately pollute our environment. With the rising concerns over global warming as more and more greenhouse gases accumulate in our Earth’s atmosphere, many voice such opinions that new alternative, yet sustainable method must be adopted to produce energy.
Have you ever imagined growing up on a life of drugs, war, crime, and seeing things that many adults won’t dare to ever see? In many countries around the world, this is what many children have to deal with. There is an occurring issue of people across Africa and parts of Asia using children as soldiers in war. They act and take upon the roles of real combatants, causing the people of the public to act in different ways. It’s been well documented that these children have used guns and war tactics, and committed various illegal and illicit acts of violence.
Recently, the controversy over the future of these weapons has sparked an interest in many debates, whether to allow them or outlaw them. The result of these disputes can affect our nation, so it is of the utmost importance to create an analytically acceptable solution. To this degree, it is critically important to properly implement a solution before causing an erroneous mistake. A reasonable approach to dealing with such arduous challenges is to properly understand its benefits and the risks that caused by this debatable, but
Nations can control their weapons and would only use them to go to war. They can use them whenever they want and it 's all up to the government to use them. They don 't have to ask the people if they have to use them, they will just launch them whenever
