Each and every working citizen of the United States pays into a social security fund to provide for the retired and disabled, and eventually to provide for themselves. Looking to the future, many depend upon social security as their “retirement plan” . . . but should they? Unless a serious reformation takes place, the social security system may be bankrupt by 2033. Shockingly, this bankruptcy has been predicted for decades. Then why has the problem not been fixed? Is it already too late?
