I planned my topic before I was assigned to do a research paper. I know at the beginning of my senior year I would need a good topic that I was interested in and I could argue about. It took me a while to figure out a topic that dealt with diesels, but I knew that no matter what the topic was I definitely wanted it to be about diesels. After deciding on my topic for conducting the argumentative research paper I used the resources available on Discus, online, and in the library to help me complete an annotated bibliography. The annotated bibliography was a big part of the research paper, using the reliable sources I learned new and interesting facts/quotes that I added to my paper.

A. Your Main Claim / Thesis Statement (State in three to five sentences what you are going to prove in your paper. Be sure to specify the two readings which you will be examining.) - Bowe and Mandela successfully emphasize in both of their texts that the true role of a citizen is to shape a nation through revealing the brutal suffrage of its own people and supporting the argument that ordinary people can effectively transform the government. However, the manner in which a citizen may attempt to gain equality in the interest of civil rights are vastly dissimilar due to contrasting nationalities and cultures.

At the time Stanozolol an anabolic steroid under the brand name of Winstrol could easily be found.

One research project that Noelle’s class did this quarter was a Famous Failures project. Basically, they had to do research on someone that they could connect to that had overcome failure or tragedy. According to the syllabus, they covered “Analyzing Media Sources” and “Ethical Reasoning How to Detect Media Bias & Propaganda”. That means that they, like mentioned earlier, had to decide if a source was credible or biased. That is just one of the multiple projects that they worked on in class and at home.

College Composition helps you better understand how to truly write an essay, and the many “ingredients” it takes to put all together and form one. This skill will not only help you succeed in English courses to come, but it will help you form better essays throughout your college career. During COM 101, I had several writing assignments that required me to describe a topic or situation in detail in order to persuade the reader. The persuasive essay was in my opinion was the most beneficial to me as a student. While writing my essay I realized that many of the functions that would normally effect my dialog and communication with my reader, were gone and I was allowed to use first person speech, and speak directly to the reader in order to convey my message thus, contributing to my skills as a writer. When I think about my speaking assignments, I immediately reference my persuasive speech about reciting the pledge of allegiance in schools, and how I found it to be the most beneficial to me as well as my audience. The various
As described by Stuart Green and April Lidinsky (2012) in the first chapter of From Inquiry to Academic Writing, academic writing is “the careful expression of an idea or perspective based on reasoning and the insights garnered from a close examination of the arguments others have made on the issue” (pg. 2). During the beginning of the semester, these words seemed foreign and made little to no sense. Now, after a semester of continual essays, homework, and discussions intended to improve my writing abilities I finally understand what academic writing is. Academic writing is the process of gathering and understanding information from reliable sources to bolster and support one’s argument. Understanding the learning objective, to demonstrate
Have you ever sat down at your coffee table, as you unpacked your journal and began freewriting? Think of it as a writing exercise in which you unleash your thoughts and memories of the day and begin writing and compensating them into a day in the life of yourself. At this moment in time is when you seem to come across things you were oblivious to in regards of what you felt of your day. Maybe you felt that today was a better day than yesterday and was a splendid day but as you sat down at the table with a warm cup of coffee, you realized how you had spilt all your hot coffee prior to sitting down, having to make it again, or you came to realize of things that had occurred that you never knew. Maybe you felt that today was a good day until you sat down with a fresh brewing cup of coffee to realize all the problems you faced and the occurrences you tried to overcome on this "wonderful day."
The last time I wrote an academic paper was for my GED test. On this paper I don’t know what I did best all I know is that I passed the test. I learned that if I keep practicing writing I can do it. Writing takes time and commitment just like college does. You have to follow the steps when writing and try not to throw something down on paper because you can get off topic without realizing it.

Do you believe that we landed on the moon? There are some people that still believe, even 45 years later, that we never landed on the moon. The Thomas theorem and the social construction of reality play their parts in the way people think what is real and how they make it become a part of their reality. There is always some type of an agreement within any argument but how it is perceived depends on the person themselves. Social construction of reality allows others to shape their own reality of something and how they influence it.
